VEHICLE DESCRIPTION Ever driven an E-class with the three liter six-cylinder engine? What a treat! Smooth is the word for sure. Comfort, styling, and versatility all in one gorgeous ride. Smooth handling in the curves or on the highway, too. Take a look at the photos and I’m sure you’ll agree with me what a great car this is. What you see is the result of a wash and vacuum only! The all-original interior is about the best I’ve ever encountered on Benz of this vintage! Look at the photos of the seats. The leather is supple with very little visible wear or cracking (no breakdown of the seat springs either). Rarely will you find Mercedes interior wood trim still in this exceptional condition. The factory floor mat’s are in place protecting the clean, original carpets. The car has obviously been allowed to spend a majority of its life garaged because the overall exterior condition is also way, way above average. Climb over, under and throughout - I know you’ll come up smiling! Rust? Please, this Benz hates rust and you won’t find anything to worry about here. CONDITION: In total, this appears to be a clean, well-cared-for, smoke-free Mercedes. I take great pride in the vehicles we sell and feel that you should know as much about the car as possible. Accordingly here is a list of the good and also things needing attention: All the glass is in great shape. It runs and drives as it should – no overheating, no brake pull or alignment issues. The factory original silver metallic paint is in great overall condition and still holds quite a shine. I find NO fading or rust spots. The only flaws are a few scratches on the front bumper as shown. Great exterior trim all around, too! As mentioned above, the front fenders, doors, rear quarters and floor pans are all solid; in fact the entire undercarriage is in great condition for a 19 year-old car! The late-model Mercedes alloy wheels are straight & true and I really like the vibe they add to the car. They’re wrapped with low-profile Z-rated touring radials still having at least 70% remaining tread. Take another good look at the interior photos. The leather upholstery is all-original with the pictures giving a very accurate view of its great condition. The heater and A/C systems work fine (ice cold within seconds). So does the power sunroof and there’s no evidence of any water leakage on the headliner. The dash gauges and exterior lights are bright and true. The former owner was wise to install a nice in-dash Sony CD stereo (I don’t know why, but it seems Daimler can’t ever install a decent radio from the factory in any of its cars and the first thing I usually do is upgrade them).
