This is a collector's item pick-up. My dad bought it from a widower who's husband bought it brand new in 1979. The buyer was an over the road trucker and he drove the pickup to the trucking yard once a week. When he passed away the wife never moved the pickup. My dad bought it in 1996 from her so I could use it to drive to high school. I also also drove it to college and then put it in my parent's barn when I bought my new pickup in 2004. Now it is taking up space. The gallery picture was taken at Horsetooth Reservior in Fort Collins when I was going to CSU. The engine is a 400ci and was overhauled less than 6,000 miles ago because the seals were leaky. It has a 3 speed automatic transmission and was serviced at the same time. The pick up starts right up and my parents just use it haul small loads around their yard. In the pictures you'll see toolboxes. Those are not apart of the pickup. They are just being stored in it. Under the boxes you will see the floor of the pickup box is made of wooden rails with metal seams. The interior is in immaculent condition. The exterior does have some rust spots on the cab corners and bottoms of the rear fenders. Pickup has two gas tanks and holds 57 gallons of gas. It had a full time four-wheel drive transfer case and then we switched the hubs to part time. Driver's side of rear bumper is pushed in a little. Other than that the body is straight. Aluminium mag wheels and treadplate bedrails are included.
