1981 Honda 750F SuperSport Early this summer 5th gear failed to engage. The bike runs great up through 4th gear, but revs when shifted into 5th/top gear. Therefore, it is being sold as is. Otherwise, this classic bike is in fantastic cosmetic and mechanical condition, and would be a great project bike as all other components are either new or in excellent condition. I bought this bike 3 years ago and immediately had a mechanic put quite a bit of work into it ($900+). I have ridden the bike very little since, probably less than 300 miles. The major details of the work are as follows (see scan of receipt for all repair details): Carbs rebuilt F&R Brakes rebuilt New tires - F&R Bridgestone Spitfire Tune up Air Filter New battery (07/2011) I also have a complete parts engine which is included. Buyer required to make $250 deposit with 48 hours. Balance of sale due the earlier of 7 days or at pickup. Buyer responsible for pickup or for arranging shipping.
