2001 Jeep Cherokee Limited This is a final edition (last year) limited edition Cherokee. There aren't very many of these around. If you are reading this ad your are proabably already familiar with Cherokees. The I6 motor is bullet proof as well as the transmission. This Jeep is good for another 100k miles. This limited is fully loaded with leather seats, heated seats, power windows, cruise, tinted windows, etc. These Jeeps are amazing in the snow. Now onto the details... I purchased this Jeep one year ago. The previous owner was from the Hamptons (Long Island). The Jeep was dealer serviced up until my purchase. I confirmed this with the presence of a Mopar oil filter and a Mopar battery under the hood. The Jeep also had a new A/C compressor. During my time of ownership I replaced the shocks, exhaust (w/cat converter), tires and spark plugs, windshield, headlights, and custom floor mats. Also serviced the transmission, transfer case, and differentials. The Jeep is not perfect however. The sunroof does not open. It is sealed shut, so its good for light but not air. The headliner needs to be re-glued in a few places. And lastly, the check engine light will occassionly come on. It has to do with the gas cap. It usually goes off after the next re-fueling. So a new cas cap may fix this problem or it may be something to do with fuel vapors escaping in that area. My mechanic said its very common and is usually an easy fix. If I fix it, I will update.. Otherwise the Jeep has typical scuff marks as found on a 10 year old Jeep. And it is 10 years old, so excpect to have repairs in due time, as with any used car. There is minimal to no rust and the drivetrain is solid. Pictures: Unfortunatly there is a reflection of the house across the street in a few of the shots. Nothing to hide, paint cleans up nice, some scratches and scuffs. Shipping is responsibility of the buyer. I will co-ordinate with your shipper.
