Up for auction is a 1972 Porsche 914 with an older restoration to the body and a new top end to the engine. The engine and mechanics are extremely reliable. I would drive anywhere and if you purchase the car you can drive it home with no worries. The car has dual carbs with air ducts from the front spoiler to the air cleaners. The oil is changed regularly and I use synthetic oil. Seats have been recovered in the original material, updated steering wheel and shift knob. Car has bose speakers and a stereo CD player. Even with an older restoration I have updated a few items in the past year. 1. New stainless steel heater tubes - Yes the heater works. 2. New muffler 3. New windshield 4. New Struts Flaws on the car - Front spoiler has about a 1 inch crack at the bottom. It is very fixable and happened when I bumped a parking curb. There is no rust on the car or in the hell hole. There is a spot below the right of the windshield that could be the begining of rust. I tried to get a picture of it but it does not show. Both horns work but the two wires by the horn button need reconnected. The dash cap has some sun damage. I disconnected the subwoofer and took it out of the car because it took up too much room. The subwoofer will come with the car. Naturally the odometer stopped working. I would estimate the mileage to be around 102,000 Car runs perfect and is extremely reliable. The car can be driven anywhere and needs nothing to drive, look good and have fun. I keep the car in a garage under a thick custom cover for a porsche 914. I will include the cover in the auction.
