Vehicle Detail

Up for auction: 1969 Chevrolet K10 4X4 350 Manual Transmission This has Rare options such as Factory Tilt Wheel, and Tachometer. A/C (not working and no compressor). Paint is in good condition (7 yrs old.), slight fading but should buff out. Tires are 31x10.50x15 with Scorpion Perelli's A/T Radials with about 500 miles on them. The Dash has not been Cut or Kid Hacked! the original radio still there. The stereo is mounted in a custom overhead console sold by LMC TRUCK. It has new carpet, also applied some 3/8 foam sound-deadener to fuel tank to quiet down fuel slosh. Also I am including in pkg set of new window channel rubber, the ones on now are split, so I have bought new ones. The seat is out of a 90's truck which makes the ride much nicer. I have the original one if you would perfer, it needs recovered but has an indian blanket seatcover on it. Motor is NOT original, it is out of a 1971 Chevelle #VO309CJD runs good, dependable. This is not a show truck, I did not detail it or pour a gallon of armoral on the tires for the pics... the truck is a nice daily driver / 20' FACTORY TACHOMETER / FACTORY TILT WHEEL ....Hard to find, believe me I've Looked.... Truck is FOR SALE locally, so auction may end EARLY. Questions? Just ask... Buyer responible for any and all shipping arrangements and costs. I will try to help accomadate you anyway I can. $500.00 deposit thru Paypal within 48 hrs of auction end. Balance within 10 days. Truck does not leave my sight till all funds clear! On Sep-22-11 at 08:50:28 PDT, seller added the following information: I Just want to try to answere a few questions here since there is so many of the same: * NO damage to the DASH PAD, it is actually a oem pad I found at a dealer, not reproduction. * The Hole in the cowl is the hole for the entenna, I just feed it back and lay it on the dash so the cover will fit on the truck, I will install it. * I DO have the Original Steering Wheel, I beleive it has a crack or two in it, if you want it, let me know, I will send it. * NO I WILL NOT SELL THE TILT WHEEL COLUMN ALONE! maybe for 5k and I'll throw in the truck...sorry * The tailgate was off a GMC and the late 90's emblem was installed over the GMC letters, the entire bed is actually off a GMC, it was in great shape compared to the original one. * New cab corners and rocker panels also installed. * TITLE is CLEAR and in hand ready to go. I hope this helps... Good Luck... On Sep-24-11 at 19:34:41 PDT, seller added the following information: To Answere a few more questions: I am adding some pics that alot have requested, not the best, but I work 12 hr shifts and wanted to accomadate your questions. floorboards are solid and they still have the tar-like lining with foam, a new rubber mat along with the carpeting, yes I have the gas pedal, it's under the seat. as for the seat, I will enclude the seat and not switch them out if you want the original which means you can have both! front end is from 71 blazer which eliminated the round enclosed knuckle and worn out king pins, 373 gear ratio. 4 spd tranny, 2 high/4 high/4 low transfer, with hubs all works great. For the question, can I drive it home to Tx,Ca, Nv, Va,Oh, Il,Ok,Ga,Wa,Tn,Nc,Fl,Nm, and I'm sure I've missed a few...This truck is 42 yrs old, I drove it to work, hunting in the mountains, to Salt Lake City (apprx 160 miles 1-way) never stranded... I just don't want to say yes you can and something happen... I would feel bad and so would you. as with any used vehicle, you never know. I don't know how much it would cost to ship but remember these old things were built to drive 55, not today's freeway speeds and are not the best economical to drive. I just want to be totally up front so niether of us have any surprises. I hope this answere's your questions, if not, send them again, I will try better...
