Vehicle Detail
Overview: Up for sale is my TRUE custom Gixxer 1000. This isn't some bike built with a bunch of off the shelf mass produced parts that you see on every street corner. This bike was designed and built with parts that were hand made specifically for this project. I built this bike to be a reliable true daily driver that would blow people's minds everywhere it went. I can tell you from the handful of miles I have put on it since the build that it truly draws attention like it was from another planet. The bike rides incredibly smooth and comfortable. If you are looking for a bike to take trips, go to shows or just wow the crowd at your local bike night than this is it. It only has 100 miles on it since the build so everything is completely fresh for you. I rode it just enough to make sure there weren't any bugs or problems. Modifications and build details: I got this bike as a pretty much stock bike in trade for a race bike that I had. I wanted a stock bike so that I could do everything myself. I have a background in building drag race bikes and wanted to try something different. I started by designing the 20" extended all tubular swingarm. After the design was complete, I began fabricating it. The swingarm is made of all 1.25" sch.80 aluminum tubing with the exception of the adjustment blocks and shock mount. Those were machined from a solid block of billet aluminum using CNC and Milling machines. This swingarm is incredibly sturdy and well made as evidenced by the world class welds and craftsmanship. All chain adjusters are hidden by countersunk plates that remove easily in the event that you need to adjust the chain. The axles are solid chromoly steel to add even more strength to the massive rear end. Mounted to the completely custom swingarm is a custom designed 14" wide by 18" tall billet aluminum wheel. The wheel is finished in Lamborghini orange pearl powdercoat wrapped with a 360mm Monster tire. You might also notice small touched like the radiused lip that flows smoothly to the tire instead of the typical square lips on most "custom" rims. Also the hubs are machined for no brake rotors on the right side of the bike which provides a clean open view of the beautiful rims. Up front there are stainless braided brake lines going to a custom Driven wave rotor to provide plenty of stopping power. The forks on the front end are chopped 2" to make the bike sit level, long and low. The exhaust is a custom modified Brock's Alienhead full race system that I had ceramic coated satin black. There is a host of other small customs parts such as the billet black rearsets, billet adjustable levers, real carbon fiber windscreen, Power Commander with custom mapping, B&M air filter, Vortex billet gas cap, all black bolt kit, chrome reservoir covers and more. The paint is a black base with a translucent colorshifting pearl over it along with 5 coats of clear. The bike looks jet black in low light, then in sunlight gives hues of burgundy, deep purple, copper and more. The seat is re-shaped and covered with a layer of memory foam then wrapped in 2 tone black and brown alligator. I could go on for days, but i think you get the point. Its pretty much a bad a$$ ride. Conclusion: I am selling this bike due to me and my family selling our home and moving to a house with no garage. I am a business owner, husband and father and just dont have time to ride and do the bike justice. I need to sell the bike pretty quick because our house is closing next month and we are moving directly after that. So please take advantage of this crazy low pricing and buy yourself instant street cred and alot of great times. Good luck and as always: God Bless!
