Vehicle Detail
1984 Z28 Camaro (Third Generation). I purchased this car from North Carolina and had it shipped to my home in Ohio. (around $350.00) I owned one just like it but not nearly as clean and sound as this one. This car is absolutely gorgeous and I just had to have it. I have put about 400 miles on it since I purchased it. The only reason I am selling this car is because it is not an everyday driver. It needs to be kept in a garage and only driven on nice sunny, warm dry days. I cannot believe how clean this car is inside and out. It runs excellent, handles excellent, shifts very nice, and is ready for the cruise ins or car shows. I need a family car, not this. I got my wants and needs mixed up but at least I can say I owned it. About the car: 1984 Z28 Camaro. It has a 5 speed manual transmission, Factory smoke tinted and mirror finish T-tops and air conditioning. The A/C does not blow ice cold air all the time. It has black leather or extremely high quality vinyl bucket seats, with all black interior. It has the T-top storage bags and a factory roller blind to conceal anything you put in the back of the car. There is also a locking storage compartment located in the trunk area. The Camaro has the high output 305 cubic inch engine with a 4 barrel carbuerator and dual exhaust. It has Goodyear Eagle GT II tires which have good tread but they are not new. I had a new JVC stereo w/remote and CD player recently installed.. This car has no rust or corrosion whatsoever.I do not think it has ever seen rain, sleet, snow or ice since new, only sunshine and not much of that with only 76,380 actual miles. This car has been babied and I can see no evidence of it ever being run hard. The paint has a brilliant shine and it is bright red, The seats are perfect, the carpet could use shampooing but is in very good condition. The dashboard is cracked in one area only. There is a tiny paint chip on the right rear bumper about 1/2 the size of a dime. Bottom line, This is an all original third generation Z28 Camaro that is sharp looking and runs great. It's not absolutely perfect or a rotisserie restoration but I cannot bear to drive it and take a chance of putting a scratch on it. It's actually too nice for me. I love the car but I really need a four season vehicle to drive everyday. My loss is your gain and I'll probably regret selling it but oh well, stuff happens. (steering wheel is not original, it is a Grant GT). Please feel free to ask questions.Thank you.
