Vehicle Detail

For sale is my 1985 CJ7 Laredo, Grey with Ghost Flames on the hood and front panel. Hard Top, Bikini Top, Trail Top and Full Doors Included. Jeep has approx. 147,700 miles on it as of Sept. 2011. I do still drive it from time-to-time so the will be more miles on it when you buy it. I stay in town with it for the most part so there won't be that many more miles added. It has a 258 ci 6 cylinder and a T5 five speed transmission. It has the Dana 300 transfer case with and Dana 30 front axle and AMC 20 rear. All are original but the motor (re-manufactured). Power steering. All fluids changed as schedule. These fluids were changed last year... front and rear axles, transmission, transfer case, coolant, and brake fluid. Still has the factory full steel doors and hard top with tinted glass. It has full gauges as well. Factory clock, tachometer, speedometer, fuel, temperature, voltage, oil pressure. All gauges are working. The factory temp, voltage, and oil pressure gauges have been replaced. As far as the aftermarket goodies are concerned... It has a 2 1/2 inch Pro Comp lift with ES3000 shocks. It has a 1 inch Energy Suspension body lift. The body bushings were shot and this is the shortest body lift I could find (not a big fan of body lifts). It has BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO tires on aftermarket 15" rims. The tires only have a little over 3000 miles on them since new. I have the receipt from Tire Kingdom that shows what the mileage was when I had them installed. I got rid of the AMC ignition and converted it to a HEI setup from a Chevy V6 and rebuilt it. Accel 8.8mm wires and plugs are used with this as well. The BBD Carter Carburetor was removed for a new Holley 2-barrel Carburetor. This corrected the running issues that are common with the 258. Has a Pacesetter header 3-2-1 down to a 2 1/2 inch exhaust. Replaced the brake master cylinder. Replace the clutch and flywheel. Replaced the clutch hardware (levelers, pivots, springs, etc). Replaced the transmission mount. The commonly cracked plastic valve cover was replaced with an Omix-Ada blue billet aluminum one with "258" on it. A few chrome accessories were added such as the air cleaner, valve cover breather and power steering pump cap. Lots of stainless steel parts have been added: windshield hinges, hood hinges, mirrors, windshield wipers, windshield wiper motor cover, passenger grab bar (oh @#$& bar!), steering column dash plate, and hood catches. The chrome parts include the front bumper, the grill, the radio antenna, and the rear bumperets. The interior is in great shape as the tub has been painted with a bed liner material. I don't know the brand as it was done before I owned it. The rear seat is the original. It is not currently installed. I had fabricated some stainless steel seat brackets, but have not installed them. I also have brand new rear seat belts that have not been installed either. They were dry fitted, just not installed since I do not normally have more than one passenger in the Jeep. The front buckets are factory, but not original to this Jeep. The driver seat is torn so I have fo-leather seat covers on them. I have a black Best Top bikini top for the Jeep. I just replaced the windshield and windshield frame as it was rusting through. I have not drilled the new holes for the bikini top track that goes on top of the windshield frame. I did not want to drill these holes in case the new owner did not want to use the top and didn't see the need to have any extra holes that would have no purpose to the new owner. During the summer the hard top is normally off. I have a trail top that is used when it is parked or if I know it will be raining sometime I'm at work or away from the Jeep. I also have a box with original parts in it that were removed when installed the stainless and chrome accessories that will go with the Jeep. Call anytime at 912-552-4744 or email me at sittinsic@gmail.com. Please leave me a message if I do not answer and i will return your call shortly. Local Pick Up Only.
