Here up for bidding is a 1969 Mercury Cougar XR7 M Code car minus engine. While removing the original black vinyl top I found one spot of rust at the left bottom corner of the rear window as seen in the photo. The previous owner rebuilt the front end back in 1998 and the car hasnt been on the road since.The car is pretty much all there except for the center console, style steel wheels, AM/FM Radio and engine. The factory options include GT Equipment Group, Power Windows, Console, Power Front Disc Brakes, Power Steering, Air Conditioning, AM/FM Radio, Tinted Glass, Deluxe belts/Warning Light, Heavy Duty Battery, Style Steel Wheels, Front Bumper Guards, FMX trans and the very rare Speed Control option. The car was leased to Philco-Ford Aeronutronic Division in Newport Beach California as per Marti Report.
