Relisting the car due to buyer not responding to my emails .. and did not pay the require $500 deposit.. please do not bid if you don't have the money, i do not have time to relist the car. leaving the country for 2 years maybe more on october 1st. and that is why i am selling the car. if it don't sell. it will go back in the storage unless one of my friend will try and sell it for me when i am gone next summer. don't miss this chance to own this car. with little bit of work. that will be a great piece of history that is hard to come by every day.. 3 owners car, it was completely rebuilt in 1992. and it was parked after several years until 2 months ago.. car have 6500 miles on the complete rebuilt. We got all the receipts with it. from engine, trans, diff. interior to paint job. it was stored in a clean storage unit. no rust on the car at all what so ever.. The good My mechanic just went over the entire car and fixed everything that i was able to afford fixing. Drained all the fluid from the engine and flushed it with new filter and oil. Drained all the fuel from the tank and cleaned up the tank with all the lines and the fuel distributor. new fuel filter, new all rubber fuel lines. and new fuel pump. Flushed the coolant system, New front brakes, new alternator bushings. We undercoated the hole car after we brushed all the old undercoating off. it was all dry and it start to fell off. no rust at all what so ever.. under the car or on the body.. zero We painted the sway bars front and back and we painted the springs all to original color. Not too long ago ( me and some of my friends ) drove in a group all the way from MI to maryland ( bimmerfest ) and back to ohio then back home. we put on the car about 2700 miles in one week. with no problems at all. not even a flat tire.. we didn't even had to add any oil to it. Just got the oil changed again 2 days ago just to change it. and it was still super clean. didn't even change color. This is a true bmw collector car. if you buy it, its up to you to do what ever you want with it. but it will be sad to be driven daily. I get thumbs up from ppl all the time. i get ppl following me around to look at the car and wait for me to stop somewhere so they can check it out. It's 1971 with rounded rear taillight. euro bumpers and great looking wide body Body is clean like i said with no rust. hood have couple of dents from the inside out. very small ones. Trunk have rough paint. might clean up after wet sanded and polished but that will not be something that i will want to do myself. Sunroof don't work. and Po scratched it trying to open it. Radio works randomly so it is loose wire , cd player under the pass seat that worked last time i used it. antena broke off last time i hand washed the car because we where in hurry to go to the car show and i ripped it right off by mistake.. :-( Seats are very nice , MOMO steering wheel. mileage stopped at 4100 after we got the car running couple weeks ago when we where on the trip. i haven't had my mechanic check into it yet.. Nice roll bar. car was raced in CA and in LA back in 88 and up to 95 Here is the good part and why this car is reliable. According to the paper work we have. Po got upset when he couldn't get the car to pass emission back in CA in 1991 so in 1992. the PO went over the hole car and rebuilt it all the way So everything on the car was put on it brand new. i got most of the record and the receipts. Engine is 2.0 block with 9.5mm piano pistons and 1,8 head with bigger cams and complete e21 fuel injector system with 5 speed manual trans and brand new clutch. Car have zero smoke, zero oil leak on the hole engine, trans, diff, half shafts.. nothing.. not even a drop. i will take this car across the country any minute without having a doubt that's gonna make it .. its like brand new car.. Tires are old but they have a lot of threads on them and they hold air pretty good . A 500 non refundible deposit must be payed right after the auction ends. if not then the car will be sold to the next highest bidder or i will relist it. I have the right to end the auction early as i have listed the car on multiple website and local. The car does have Bilsteins front and rear. pretty stiff around the corners. The rims are 15 inch racing rims. not sure what brand. but you can take them a parts by removing the bolts from the inside of the rim. You can drive the car with no problem .. no shake or leak .. the little windows on the doors open also with no problem so you get tons of wind inside the car. who need ac.. lol.. I tried to describe the car as much as i can up to my knoledge. also if anyone want to fly to Mi to pick up the car. Detroit metro airoport is where you want to fly to. i will be more then glad to pick you up or send someone to do so. for no extra charge.
