You are bidding on a near mint condition, all original, numbers matching, 1976 Caprice Classic, 350 5.7L, 2bbl, auto, 4dr, ps, pb, a/c. This car was purchased new in 1976 by my grandfather, kept in a garage, and truly has 45k original miles. The cloth interior is in near mint condition with no tears, stains, etc. Due to the car being stored in a garage however there are cracks in the dash cover and some weathering on the top of the rear seats. The body is clean and rust free. There is usual wear on the 30+ year old paint, but like I said, even the paint is in near mint given the age. The rear bumper is slightly bent, but no damage to the body or frame. The A/C unit was completely rebuilt and overhauled to accept R134a instead of freon sometime in the 2000's, however the blower does not currently work and is thought to be a relay or switch. Otherwise see pictures for a great, all original, near mint classic car. The car is advertised locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early. Inspection is available before bidding, but this is a binding contract, and a $800 non-refundable deposit is due within 24 hours of auction close, with the balance due within 7 days.
