Beautiful 1988 BMW 325i Convertible Up for auction is a 1988 BMW 325i Convertible car. The car came to me from Florida in 2009, where it is garage kept and has never seen snow. This car looks new and could be used as a "show car" or a daily driver. I bought it from an older man who had many european cars and said this car was barely driven each year. I took the time, spent a couple grand on new parts/paint, made this car sweet and babied it. We are now a 5 person family where this is only a 4 seater. I have paperwork for the new top, alternator, etc. New Pennsylvania inspection on car that expires (9/2012). Brand new Hemi Orange paint - pearl added, professionally painted. Straight 6 cyl, 2.5l engine. Automatic transmission, E30 Body style, 107k miles. NEW paint, NEW beautiful German convertible top (manual), NEW tires, NEW fuel pump & filter, NEW alternator, NEW plugs, NEW carrier-bearing, Newer battery. Clean tan leather interior w/ Premium sound all around with a Kicker 12" sub-woofer, Rockford Fosgate amp, Kenwood Mp3 head unit. Reliable, strong runner with clean title and carfax. The A/C stopped working this summer and may simply need recharged, I do not know, for I ride with the top down and rarely used it. Trunk lock not working, but it latches and can't tell it doesn't lock. Driver-side door lock/unlock stem needs replaced, however door does lock with key. Driver-side rear wheel lug missing (mechanic said it was $10 part to replace). Odometer stopped working about a hundred or so miles after inspection, however my wife and I don't want to put any more money in car (told it needs $60 gear). I feel all are inexpensive fixes (couple hundred bucks). I have installed a new, smaller tachometer that is mounted on the steering column. Great, reliable, solid, rust-free car with smooth shifting transmission and engine. If you're not prepared when you punch it down, you may need new a new pair of underwear :) This car is listed for sale locally and I reserve the right to end this auction at any given time.
