2 for the price of one. The first one is a 1987 toyota 4-runner with 296000 miles. I bought it new in 1987 and it is a dependable vehicle. It has the 22RE 4 cylinder with a 5 speed manual transmission. I have had it serviced every 2000 miles since new. It runs great and uses no oil. I had the head and timing chain and gears replaced less than 100000 miles ago. Original clutch replaced at the same time. It has very good tires on it and brakes are almost new. It has a factory anti- theft alarm Installed. 4 wheel drive works great without any problems. Now what is wrong with it: The body is rough. The back window works, but it won't stay up while driving down the road. the emergency brake cable needs replaced. (Doesnot work) The A/C needs recharged and the drivers out side door handle need a spring replaced. (It does work). The muffler needs replace also. Now for the second one. This is a 1989 Toyota 4-runner that has smacked a deer. It has the same engine and transmission and options as the 87. It has 151000 mile on it. It ran without any problems the last time it was started. It has the same interior except it is vinal instead of cloth. It needs a whole front clip and radiator.
