the bike is a 1980 bmw r100 i bought the bike to do a cafe about 3 mounths ago the sheet metal is all hand formed aluminum hammered out by me the tranny was very grabby when i bought it i bought a trans of of ebay and it shifts fine now i have the old trans that goes with it i have the old gas tank seat and fenders thal go with it they are not in great shape i was going to build a front faring out of aluminum and polish the sheetmetal pull apart and powdercoat all the non aluminum parts i just have some other sheetmetal projects i have right now i would like to get to i was going to have a set made you could ride the bike as is it runs sifts goes down the road could eventually use the top end redone the compresion is about 95 to100 a side just to let you know i have a ural i drive just about every day i really like the simplicity of the bmw motorcycles i changed all the oils everything seams ok the only thing that doesnot work is the turn signials in the bake they worked until i toke the stock frount one of they light up i paid 1800 for the bike and 200 for the trans and i have 50 plus hours in it right know so i am not really going to make money with it but i am not going to take a los the bike it is sold as is it could use a new rear tire thanks for looking any questions give me a call 715 495 1145 i live just outside of eau claire wi thanks again for looking have a good one
