Vehicle Detail

1976 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray - C3 - Project car, mostly complete except interior. Many pictures here: http://s636.photobucket.com/albums/uu82/chrisrbattles/Corvette/ I bought this car 10 years ago as a driving project, it would drive down the road but it definitely needed work. It had a turbo 350 and tired 350 in it. I drove it around for about a year and parked it, pulled the motor, transmission, and interior - planning to do a quick overhaul. It didn't really work out that way and now, 2 houses, 2 remodels, a marriage, etc. later and here it sits - I just never got around to putting it back together, and somehow I've lost track of whatever wasn't bolted to the car. What you see is what you get. No engine or transmission is included. This was originally an automatic car, so it has the removable transmission crossmember, but I did swap out the original automatic pedal assembly for a pedal assembly with a clutch pedal. I'm including an aftermarket tubular 700R4 crossmember that I bought to mount up a World Class T5 (the transmission and a complete LT1 are in another auction if you're interested) which is the same length as the 700R4. It was never used. At one point, someone cut a hole in the hood (like for a blower but I'm not sure why). I bought an aftermarket fiberglass scoop and planned on grafting it onto the hood, the scoop is included. I'm also including a never used dual core aluminum radiator with it. There's virtually no interior as you can see in the pictures. The body is basically complete as seen in the pictures, and in fairly decent shape (no major damage). I'd plan on going through the frame and suspension because I know it's totally tired, the bushings are worn out and from what I remember, it definitely drove like it. I'm starting it off cheap and selling with no reserve, this just isn't a project that I'm into anymore, so I'd like to get it out of here and move on with someone else. The starting price is well under what it should be worth, and what I originally had in it. Honestly though, I need it gone more than I need a fair price for it. I have a clear title with the car, and I'm willing to work with you if you're having it shipped - but you make all the arrangements. I've tried to make the description as thorough as possible and I took quite a few pictures. If you have any questions, I'm happy to answer them or take some more pictures if needed.
