This is an amazing 46 year old classic! The exterior of this coupe is the original, factory silver-blue, and the interior is the original blue and white deluxe pony interior, including a wood finish dash and steering wheel. Also with the pony package are the door lights, the 5-guage instrument panel, and the extra bits of interior chrome. She also has the original Ford factory air conditioner and the ORIGINAL AM RADIO! The glass is all solid with no cracks, but the previous owner sealed the windows with clear acrylic around frame. The doors shut cleanly. The single-muffler, 289 V8 engine runs well and has an upgraded filter cover, and the transmission needs work. The only thing not original on the engine is the 4 barrel Holley carburetor. The frame is very straight. Over the last 4 decades the original silver-blue has lightened a little, but the paint still shines. The floor pans are solid with no rust. The drip rails have some surface rust, but the car is free of deep metal rust. (In fact a prestigious Dallas Mustang restore shop estimated only a minor restoration would take the engine and body back to mint) She has a new gas cap with glass intact. She has the typical rock chips in the hood and back deck and a single, 1.5" indention (pictured) on the passenger front fender. One of the pony emblems is off of the passenger side, but I have it. She has brand new BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires with less than 30 miles on them. As with most cars this age, this car is sold as is. I hate to let her go, but with a new family and a more demanding career move, I haven't been able to giver her the attention a classic like this deserves. Shipping is not included.
