Vehicle Detail
1988 Chevy K1500 four wheel drive 350 V8 / Auto / 4X4 Towing packing: Electric breaks for heavier trailer with transmission cooler. Also has secondary trans cooler. New 33 inch tires Inspected till January 2012 Fully serviced including: transmission rears transfer case engine oil (and all other fluids) full tuneup including: plugs wires o2 sensor fuel filter distributor rotor distributor cap Note: When I had the plugs out they were completely clean. No carbon deposits or oil. I was pleasantly surprised. I was told by the previous owner that the bottom end of the engine had about 40k miles on it but I have no documentation of that. AC works very good. Blows ice cold air. Truck runs good and four wheel drive is solid. Please don't waste my time. I don't need to sell it. I'm just upgrading to a newer truck and don't need this one anymore. Thanks. Recently, from time to time the reverse gear doesn't always completely engage so it feels like it slips a little once in a while in reverse. There is a module that controls that which I think is going bad but the transmission is good otherwise. I've had no other problems. I drive this truck down to Philly all the time and have had no problems and that's about sixty miles one way. So keep that in mind when bidding. At last inspection it took nothing and I only drove it a few thousand miles since then so I very much doubt it will need anything for inspection this January. It has the normal rust spots which you can see in the pictures. The floors and the bed are solid (I've been under the truck) and beyond the rust spots there is no damage of any kind. Its just a solid old truck good for someone that needs a truck for hauling things or getting around this winter in the snow. Let me repeat that. While it is a solid truck it is old. Interior is in good shape except the seat is starting to wear out and the door panels need clips. The headliner is not falling downing, the dash is not cracked, the floor is clean, all the gauges and lights work. I had actually thought about buying a seat and some door panels and the inside would be perfect but I never got around to it. Suspension, breaks, and exhaust are all in great shape. The exhaust is clean which should tell you something about the engine.
