Vehicle Detail
Hi, What are you looking at is my 1976 Honda cb 750, I am not 100 percent sure, but i believe it is a k, the reason i think this is because i found a 750 k sticker underneath the seat though i have no real way of knowing if it is the orginal seat. The bike does have some flaws. The paint job is not 100 percent perfect there is a bare spot in the back part. The color is a darker looking red that almost looks black at times. The seat will need a new cover made for it the seat it is a mustang style seat, it is just sitting in place in the photo it will need the hinges.....When i first got this bike the first thing i did was get new older carbs for it, The bike has been giving me a little trouble fireing it lately and needs someone to stay with the throttel untell it gets warm enough to idle on its own...The bike will usually start with a couple kicks or cranks on the electric start. Once the bike is fired i ussaly have to stay with the bike untell it gets warm...The bike is also reving kinda funny at times and will back fire, though once the bike gets warm it will run smooth and even out, though the idle down time is slow at times. I have rode this bike and have had it to about 90mph it does shift through all the gears. I think the bike may need some more caburator work or adjustments.... The gas tank has some small dents in it, the aluminum could use more wet sanding and polishing, The exhaust the back baffle is missing, though i do have it, There is a small dent on of the pipes on the manifold, and there is a hole at the bottom of the exhaust that could be welded shut or just left open. There is a vacume tube that has fumes come out of it when the bike is running, it points towords the ground, i think it is meant to be like this though i just wanted to state it.....I have about a full extra set of carbs and the assembly plate. The carbs are good i had just cleaned them and was going to test them then i broke a flow jet or nozzle not sure though i know it needs a new one....The side covers are new on it. The bikes turn signals and horn works and has a good battery, One of the unique things i found on this bike i thought was the brake disk how its slotted, I bought this bike a couple months ago and now am just hopeing to get the money back i put into it. I would like to get onother sportbike!....If you have any question feel to email me. Thanks matt
