You are bidding on a rare 1979 Cadillac Seville Elegante with astro roof. This is a straight rust free western car. I have clear Idaho title in hand. It has 81,717 miles ( I have no way to document the mileage as being accurate, but from looking at the car it looks to me to be correct) and is all original except the engine, and wheels and tires. This car was original a diesel, but was converted some time (looks as if a long time back) to a gas engine. It still has the original paint. It is week and faded, but looks good from a distance. The interior is not bad. There are some cracks in dash and wear spots on the seats (see pic). The leather raped steering wheel, and center console are very nice. The glass astro roof is excellent, no cracks or scratches, and the sun shad is all good, and it doesn't leak. The hood emblem, trunk look cover emblem, and the two C pillar side emblems are all in excellent condition with no weathering. All of the elegant trim is in excellent condition, with no blemishes. The rest of the trim is excellent as well except for the urethane rear bumper filler cover (these all go bad and replacements are available), and one small spot on the lower rocker panel driver side just in front of the front door (see pic). This car runs good the transmission shifts smooth and the brakes work as the should. The suspension and handling are tight. All the glass is good. The tangerine carpet is a little dirty in places, but no torn or worn through places, just need a good cleaning. The batter is almost new. The A/C does not work. The passengers front window does not work. The trunk look does not work (I put the key in and opened it now I can't get the key out or get the trunk to close) I believe the look will need to be replaced. There is a trunk floor may that goes with the car just took it out for the pic. You could fly in and drive home if you want (car is currently registered), but if you are fare away it would (in my opinion) be better to have car transported. It is usually cheaper, and you take out the risk of breakdown. Also this car has small tires on it so engine has to really work to keep at highway speed (ie uses a lot of gas), and there is no spare or jack (but there is the tools to take wheels off). I believe that you should view this as drive as you go project car.
