Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 Thanks everyone for being patient as we addressed the numerous emails and phone calls on this 1965 Shelby GT350R – Recreation – Race “Ready” Car. We have received messages from France, New Zealand, Switzerland and all across the United States (California, Texas, Ohio, Tennessee, etc.). Below are responses to assist all bidders: - Yes, the car is titled and the full VIN is 5T09C174042 - The current title is state of Florida Certificate of Title - No, the car was not originally Wimbledon white; the car does not have a door data tag; however, this was a Metuchen, NJ built car and the original buck tag is in tack – reflecting this was a J-color code of originally being Rangoon Red and 26 interior trim code being black vinyl. - Please remember this is a Race Ready car which one could go compete in Sportscar Vintage Racing. We do not believe the vehicle to be street legal. - The vehicle weight is 2,824 lbs. - Per the last dynamometer report on the car, the maximum HP was 299.3 @ 6125 RPM and maximum torque of 307.6 @ 4,475 RPM - The car was painted and reassembled to the Shelby GT350R look in 2008. - Wheels are 15x7 R-Model on the front; 15x8.5 R-Model on the rear - For those asking for undercarriage pictures they have been emailed to you directly…others can email us and we will be glad to send. - Yes, the fire suppression system is functional with pull activator and is a new 10 lb system. - Yes, battery is mounted in a metal box inside car….again per SVRA requirements and does have the manual cut off switch at the cowl on passenger side. Thanks and good luck with bidding!!!!!!!!! On Sep-10-11 at 12:00:05 PDT, seller added the following information: UPDATE and Clarification on the Transmission: This 1965 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350R Recreation DOES NOT have the Doug Nash 5 speed transmission as we had indicated above. The car has the desirable and proven Jerico roadrace 4-speed transmission. In dialogue with a customer we just realized this was a mistake in our write-up. Background: The Doug Nash 5 speed transmission was in the car previously but it was illegal for SVRA competition. An authentic top loader four speed is the proper transmission for use; however, the Jerico 4 speed is acceptable for SVRA competition with a 150 lb. penalty. Again, the transmission is the JERICO ROADRACE 4-speed. Thanks and good luck with bidding!!!!!!!
