Vintage Custom 1982 Honda Goldwing Aspencade GL 1100A with only 82k miles!! The Aspencade motorcycle was top of the line in its day and was billed as the Rolls Royce of touring bikes. Expensive custom paint with hand painted mural, lots of extra chrome, carbs just rebuilt, looks great and runs good. This fun cruiser has the adjustable air shocks, operational CB radio and lots of storage room. There is a custom hand painted mural on the gas tank and a hand etched mural on the front windshield that looks absolutely amazing! To my knowledge the only issues are the radio has been removed and the speedomoter cable recently broke ($20) for replacement, both easy fixes. Some chrome is pitted and rusted in places, but the overall package is in great shape for a 30 year old bike. I have done my best to describe this motorcycle as it appears. Pics 10 & 11: pictures of the front tire w/quarter so you can guage the amount of tread left on the tire. There are no signs of dry rot on the front or rear tires whatsoever. Pics 12 & 13: Show the corner crack and what I believe are rock dings in the trunk. - this is a good example of the small repairs needed. Pic 14: Shows the custom etched front glass. - this thing looks wicked!! Pic 15: shows a screw missing from the manifold - another good example of the small repairs needed to make this bike a daily driver. TODAY'S CRUISE REPORT: The bike runs lean, shifts good, the air ride pump is functional but the new owner needs to re-run hoses etc. Both tires are good and roadworthy. The carburetor needs adjustment and fine tuning and i would give the bike a general tune up. The rear brake sticks occasionally, linkages need lube and trunk has crack as shown in pics. This bike will need some TLC to bring it back to its original glory (detail work; screws/bolts here & there, rechrome this, repaint that) or rock it with the custom patina as is. Please keep in mind, you are bidding on a 30 year old bike that is not in perfect working condition; expect the motorcycle to have some 30 year old problems. The reserve price reflects that.
