The interior is all original, nothing has been replaced. The car has a 289 V8 with 131,000 original miles. The automatic transmission was rebuilt 15k miles ago and it runs like a dream. The car was recently featured on an episode of HGTV'd that aired this week. It served as the inspiration for designer Antonio Ballatore's basement makeover of our home. I'm the 3rd owner, the second owner owned the car from 1965 - 2003 and took great care of the vehicle. She purchased the Galaxie as a 55 year old lady and kept it until she passed in 2003. According to her family, the car was garaged the entire time she owned it and has been since I purchased it 8 years ago. There is 1 small rust spot shown in photo. The power steering pump has a leak but not bad enough to require repair. The engine burns NO oil and leaks NO oil. The car is a perfect daily driver. You can view a video of the car on YouTube.
