WELL I CAN'T SEEM TO MAKE UP MY MIND. I HAVE CANCELLED 2 AUCTIONS BECUASE I REALL YLOVE THIS CAR AND WHEN IT GETS CLOSE I DECIDE NOT TO SELL SO THIS MAY BE THE LAST CHANCE!! DON'T BE AFAID TO USE "BUY IT NOW" IF YOU REALL WANT THIS CAR just in time for that fall crusing!! You have seen the rest now see one of the best. This is a near perfect 1998 Corvette convertible Indy Pace Car. It does not have all the yellow accents-Wheels, seats decals etc. I am the 4th owner on a clean CarFax. People ask if the decals etc were taken off. I have been told you could order without them and I have been told you cannot. The fact of the matter is it doesn't have them.. The only yellow you can see is the stitching in the steering wheel. This car is officially listed as RADAR BLUE but it sure looks purple at times. This car gets plenty of looks and comments by people at crusie-ins or the grocery store! ALL POSITIVE!! I have not seen another since I owned the car. PROBABLY BECAUSE ONLY 1163 WERE MADE! It has new ZO6 type wheels, new Firestone Firehawk tires and a brand new Beige top--I switched out the black one because I think the car looks better! A low 27,000 original miles. Since I have own this car it has been stored in a heated garage in the winter and has never seen rain-nor water!! I use a water free spray to clean the little dust it gets. The original seats are in excellent condition and i have included photos. I did put seat covers on to keep the originals pristine as everyone knows the edges tend to wear from sliding in and out. Under the hood is a lot of after market add-ons which can be easily removed if you want to restore it to original. Brakes are real good but I am including new pads for when they need to be changed. It has a new FlowMaster muffler system and has a low throaty sound-not too loud. Paint finish is excellent and has almost zero chips anywhere. i DO HAVE TO PAY OFF MY LOAN.
