Update 9/7/2011: I carefully checked the wheel wells and the bottom of the body along the sides of the vehicle for rust. I see no rust on this vehicle anywhere. I'd be surprised otherwise as it has been in sunny California for the past 5 years and only recently returned to the east coast.
