Vehicle Detail
1973 Ford Grand Torino Sport. This is a really nice car that is ready to roll! Very sharp and original 3-owner California car. Only 95,000 original miles. Very nice interior and exterior. This car really turns heads and gets compliments. Rebuilt original 400 V8. This is a great running and great looking engine. Bored, Stroked and Balanced. Only about 400 miles on rebuilt engine. Over $9,000 was spent just on the engine alone. (Have receipts). Almost everything on the car is fresh. Engine, rear end, drive line, etc. I have stacks of receipts that will go with the car. All work was done by certified mechanics. New brakes and suspension parts too. Transmission was rebuilt as well. ($1,754 just on the tranny alone). Some of the new parts include: Race cam, pistons, Heavy Duty Heads, Original C-6 Automatic transmission rebuilt with top-quality racing parts, oil pump, B&M console shifter (original column shift is still intact but non-functional), New Mallory electronic ignition system, chrome Edelbrock carburetor and valve covers, brushed aluminum intake, headers, hoses, water pump, distributor, fresh tune-up, spark plugs, battery, fluids, etc. Over $20,000 was invested in the mechanical rebuild. It just passed Colorado emissions as well. The body on the car is very nice. All original body panels. From what I was told, it has been garaged it's entire life. It was with the original owner for the first 33 years or so. Except for a few small dings, some very light surface rust (see pics) and a few small chips, the body is very straight and looks great. The vinyl top looks super too. No tears or rips. It is dark green. The interior looks fantastic as well. The only flaws are a slight straight tear on the passenger seat and a smaller crack in the dash. All of the gauges still work and look fantastic. The car still has the working original, push-button radio too. I have it set to the Oldies station and it fits the car perfectly. :-) The car also has power steering, power brakes, factory tach, aftermarket tach, dual exhaust and dual sport mirrors. All original body trim and emblems are intact. New tires and rims with balance and alignment. ($928) I will include the original Grand Torino hubcaps with the sale too. :-) This is a great looking, fun and smooth running classic car. It is not perfect, it does have some minor flaws, but it really wouldn't take much to make it a show car. I have listed at a very fair price too. It is a LOT of car for the price that I am asking. You can't go wrong! It is turn-key and ready to go. All of the hard work has been done. I just have too many vehicles and need to sell a few. Please check my feedback. I am a straight shooter and honest. If you have any questions, please just ask. I want the buyer of this car to be fully satisfied. Also, please don't waste my time. If you do not have the money to buy this car right now, then please do not contact me. Also, no out-of-country buyers. Thank you. Good luck.
