Vehicle Detail

Your looking at my beautiful real 2002 WS6 TA with less than 29,800 original miles on it. (The photo of the door decal shows the WS6 designation in it) The car is beautiful inside and out and all accessories function as they should. T-Tops have the shades installed and they do not leak. I have owned it for two years and only put a few hundred miles on it. I purchased it in California in 2009. I have well over $35,000 invested in this car as you will understand as your read the description. I am selling it as I have just purchased a 2011 2SS/RS Camaro (last photo). I have my clear title in hand. When I received the car I began to customize it. Here is how it went. EXTERIOR: It first received all the gold details on the exterior, to include Custom Gold Centered/Chrome Edged Aluminum Wheels 17x9.5 fronts 18x10.5 rears and like new Goodyear Eagle F1 GS tires, P275 40/17 fronts and P275/40/18 rears, gold decal stripe set, gold TA side decals, gold front and rear bird decals, gold windshield decal, etc. (Heat gun takes them right off if you prefer). New blackout LED third brake light housing, blackouts on parking lights. The factory paint has been buffed to remove most all of the factory orange peel and looks very slick and shiney. There is one scratch in the drivers door (next to last photo) that is barely sceen. It is by the lower molding area. It is 1.5" skips a little then 1.5" and both are not through the paint. I had to put wax in it just so it would show in the photo. There are a couple of small scratches in the clear coat on top of the rear bumper apparently from a box or something both from previous owner and maybe a few other scuffs or nicks but I cannot see any! Overall it is in great shape and you will not be disappointed. INTERIOR: It has new biege and black custom door panels and all new biege and black front and rear seat upolstry. Custom embroidered head rests and an embroidered rear trophy mat were also installed. The remainder of the interior is in great original condition. The spare tire and jack are mounted in the trunk. ENGINE: I pulled the factory engine and installed a brand new LS6 long block crate engine (Crate LS6 was assembled, valve covers to pan see photo of engine in crate as shipped). Numbers matching long block available (now a stroked 383) for additional cost) While installing this engine I pulled the factory LS6 cam and replaced it with a comp cams XR273HR-12 (54-416-11) with .530/.534 lift and 220/225 @.050 duration with 112 lobe seperation. You can tell it has a cam at idle not to lopey but enought to hear it. To satisfy the addition addtional lift I removed the factory LS6 Springs and installed PAC Performance springs good to .600 lift. Comp Cams 7.4 Hardened push rods were installed for added safety. And to clear the lifters a set of Tall Fabricated Aluminum Valve covers were installed. A SFI Certified fluid damper with 16% reduction was installed on the crank shaft and a new SFI Flex plate was installed at the rear. Next the LS6 intake was fitted with an aftermarket Billet 80MM throttle body, Granitelli MAF with cold tune, Coolent bypass kit, smooth bellows, and clear plastic air cap with a K&N filter. The Engine then received new irridium plugs, and 10.5 mm plug wires. Next New, Custom 1 3/4 Long Tube Polished Stainless Steel Headers, new Stainless Steel Hi Flow Cats were installed with new o2 sensors and sensor extensions, then followed with Stainless Steel 3" pipe into a stainless 3 inch in 2.5 duel outlet Polished Stainless Steel Magnaflow muffler all with stainless clamps. To keep it cool a new HD two row aluminum radiator was installed with 180 degree thermostat and a new water pump. (I have the factory matching numbers LS1 block and heads but it has received a full forged 383 stroker kit) THE ENGINE HAS 3 HOUR RUN TIME AND PERHAPS 50 MILES ON IT since installation. You can be the one to break it in your way!!! This LS6 started life at 405hp/400 lb.-ft torqure right out of the crate and I am sure it has a plenty more now! TRAMSMISSION/REAR END: While the engine was out the transmission received a B&M stage 2 Shift Kit with 1-2 aluminum accumulator piston and an aftermarket 2,800 stall converter. The transmission pan received a drain plug kit and is filled with B&M trick shift fluid. Factory disc posi rear end. COMPUTER: The TA's on board computer (PCM) was reprogrammed to work with all the new engine/transmission modifications by LSX Solutions. The dash photo is while the engine is running as noted by the tach and gauges and does not have a check engine light. SUSPENSION: The factory springs, shocks and struts were removed and replaced as follows: KYB 4 GR-2 front Struts and rear shocks were installed, with Eibach (PN 2001) lowering springs . The rear lower control arms were removed for poly bushed tubular control arms. Then the factory rear sway bar was replaced with a new MASSIVE Pro Adjustable, heim jointed swaybar. You can see in the last photo that the Trans Am has a lower stance than my new 2SS/RS !!! BRAKES: SLP Custom Fit Line Lock and pre fabricated lines was installed under the hood, with a shifter mounted button. Factory brakes and rotors received hi temp silicone coating and the fronts have gold letters. New ceramic pads installed. OVERALL: The car sits low and looks awsome. It really turns heads. The heater is hot and the A/C is cold. The radio sounds very good and plays cds. The car starts first time and runs very, very strong. Has a nice exhaust note but not to bold that it bothers the neighborhood (Police). The EGR tubing was removed from the vehicle and the computer was programmed for that. The pump is still in the fender well and I have the hoses and manifold(Hedder) connections if you would like them. The aftermarket headers have the welded in adaptors to accept the fittings if you wish to have full smog equipment. (Again, it does have fully functional catalitic converters with o2 sensors). I am sure I have forgotten some items but for the most part that covers it. The car is being sold as is as photographed with no warranty expressed or implied. Inspection of vehicle is incouraged. I reserve the right to end the listing early as I will be trying to sell it locally also. $500.00 paypal down payment required within 48 hours with remainder by cashiers check within 7 days. BASIC LS6 CRATE INFO FROM GM: Corvette Z06 performance straight out of the crate! Nothing says performance like engine code LS6! Producing more than 400 horsepower, the LS6 transformed the Corvette Z06 into a world-beating sports car. GM Performance Parts now offers this ultimate small-block performer in a complete crate engine package – just the extra muscle your Corvette or F-car road racer needs to sweep off the competition. The 5.7-liter LS6 builds on the inherent strengths of the Corvette's LS1 engine, but benefits from a higher-lift camshaft and higher-compression pistons to raise horsepower from 350 to 405, and torque from 340 lb.-ft. to 400 lb.-ft. Such tremendous power is produced through the use of hollow-stem valves, a more aggressive camshaft, improved intake and higher-rate valve springs. GM Performance Parts delivers the LS6 as an all-inclusive assembly, complete with CTS-V oil pan, large-volume composite intake manifold with single-bore throttle body, and high-performance long-style exhaust manifolds. The LS6 is also a great choice for older cars and street rods whose owners are looking for high-tech performance and fuel-injected dependability!
