1976 Mercedes Benz 280 SL Roadster -European model-M 110 6 cylinder engine-4 speed manual transmission-90,000 original miles-New Kumho racing tires-Clutch recently serviced-Hard and soft top-Leather seats European Model SL 280, this baby is close to showroom condition. Beautiful burgundy exterior with black leather interior. Very well maintained vehicle, garage kept for over 20 years. Driver seat has a small tear in the leather (see photo). The dash has a minor crack (see photo). The original radio has been pulled. Purchaser is responsible for shipping arrangements. I have received an overwhelming amount of questions about this car so I will attempt to answer them all here: First off I have been a Mercedes master mechanic for over 30 years. I own my own shop here in Marietta and mainly specialize in older Mercedes. Please feel free to call me with any additional questions but please read below: -NO accidents-In terms of rust, there is minimal rust where the floor board meets the fender apron. There was also some rust under the back seat which I cut out and replaced with fiberglass.-Service records - Like I said I am master Mercedes mechanic - please call me and I can explain all and any work that I have personally done on this car (770)-428-1784-Paint is in great condition, I would rate it at an 8 on a scale from 1 to 10.-This is a convertible as are all SL models, SLC models are coupes. This is not a coupe, the top is removable. The hard top is in great condition but the soft top is somewhat dry rotted, I would recommend replacing the soft top.-23 MPG, regular unleaded fuel, Castrol 20/50 oil Purchaser is responsible for shipping arrangements.
