VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: VEHICLE HISTORY: This low mileage Indy Pace Car Limited Edition C3 Corvette was purchased by the current owner in July 2000, with 14 miles. He has trailered it to shows, driven it sparingly, and it currently has only 90 miles showing on the odometer. He is thinning out his Corvette collection and this one is ready for another collector to enjoy and save the history. The new “fastback” rear end styling featured a large rear window that greatly increased luggage space behind the seats. The speedometer and tachometer were redone, and a glove box was added. There were two special edition Corvettes for 1978, the “Silver Anniversary” and the “Indy Pace Car”. The Pace Cars had their own separate VIN and there were only 6,502 produced.
