1980 JEEP CJ5 This is a 1980 Jeep CJ5 I started restoring last fall. I lost interest in the Jeep. I got the Jeep out of Florida. The Jeep is VERY SOLID!!!!! There is no rust on this chassis looks like brand new! I stripped, primed and painted the complete rolling chassis with Implement paint, a very durable product for the frame and axles. This chassis looks better then when it was new! It has Power steering, Power brakes, Dana axles, It has the transmission that will except a small block, New Mud King tires 31x10.50 R15s,Warn front locking hubs, 4" Rough Country suspension lift, Rancho RS 5000 shocks, Chrome nerf bars, Rebuilt shift assembly (shift forks), New rear shock mount, New gas tank and Sending unit, Duel exhaust, I replaced every bushing on the entire Jeep, New trans mount, New brake lines, Rebuilt power steering gear box, NEW BIG BORE LONG BLOCK ONLY 5500 MILES, Aluminum Intake, Headers, Carter carb and much more. THE ROLLING CHASSIS IS 100% DONE!!!! The sheet metal is in Very Very good shape! I metal patched 3 of the 7 spots and they are very small areas. The tub is VERY SOLID!!!!!!! the fenders hood and grill are in VERY good shape also. NEEDS VERY LITTLE BODY WORK!! It has a Chrome windshield hindges, Complete Vinyl Best Top with two piece doors, all new hardware for the top, New Tail lights, It has Diamond plate that covers the back and wraps around the sides. Here is a list of all the Brand New parts I have.
