DUE TO A NON PAYING DEAD BEAT, THIS IS BEING RELISTED. SERIOUS BIDDERS ONLY! Winning bidder is to send us their phone number so we can call to discuss payment and pick up options. Due to the scam that got pulled with my last listing, I will NOT sell this to anyone in the Portland, OR area. Feel free to come and test drive this escalade before you bid. your welcome to come 7 days a week anytime between 9am and 9pm. thanks. Here we have a 2008 Cadillac Escalade AWD with 43,000miles on it. it runs and drvies great and i am pretty sure that it has every option that you can get. it has heated steering wheel, power running boards, navigation, back up camera, rear dvd, 2nd row buckets, 22" chome wheels, remote start, and so much more. this escalade has it all. It is currently being sold with a salvage title and this may need to be inspected in your home state. since i wasn't there when the accident happened, i can only guess. we had replaced the front drivers fender and hood (because they both were missing), and the frotn bumper cover because it had about a 6" crack in it. it probly could have been repaired, but we replaced it just to be sure. since that was the only damage that we could find i am pretty sure that someone hit the side, or maybe they side swiped something and only got the front fender. we didn't do any repairs to the door or anywhere else on the sides. so the damage was only to the driver side front corner. there was NO damage to the cooling or the front radiator support. we didn't even mess with that stuff at all. we just painted and bolted on the new parts as we were good to go. the other thing is that the main fuse block is located on the driver front fender and when the accident happened it broke the fuse block and it was replaced with a new one. We didn't need to have any frame work done, and no air bags deployed, the last 6 pictures are the auction pics from when we bought this. everything works just like brand new. no damage to the motor or transmission. all parts that we replaced are 100% OEM. all paint looks perfect, no swirls, no orange peel, ect. it was painted at our local body shop. come today and drive this for yourself. Here are all the bad things that i could find about this vehicle OUTSIDE ISSUES -Nothing really, there is a couple minor paint chips on the outside door mirrors. INSIDE ISSUES -We only have one key but we have two key fobs, one of them is missing a small plastic part, but it still works just fine. -The leather is fine, but there is a couple stains in the carpet through out the escalade. nothing major, just average wear and tear for something that has interior this light in color As you look over this car, it shows better then average wear and tear for a car that has 43,000miles on it. nothing is major, just get in and drive this car across the county. Questions, If you have any questions, We strong prefer that you either e-mail us or come ask us in person. All of our cars are located in Faribault, Minnesota 55021. Current Title, The current title is a MINNESOTA SALVAGE TITLE. Please check with your state before bidding. Once you get this car inspected, it should come back as a prior salvage title/rebuilt in your home state. I can get it inspected here in Minnesota, but that wouldn't do you any good if you live out of state. If I do get it inspected here, and send the title into Minnesota, then its going to take about 3 months for the state of Minnesota to send me the prior salvage title back. I know for a fact that this car will pass a Minnesota state inspection with flying colors or your money back. Other state's might require something different, so please check before you bid. All sales are final. We will provide you with a bill of sale, title, repair receipts, and photos of the car before it was repaired. You shouldn't need anything more then what I listed above, but if there is, let us know and we will do our best to get you anything you need to get this vehicle inspected in your home state. Att: Minnesota buyers, You will be charged sales tax at a rate of 6.5%, plus plates, tabs, and title transfer fees. You will also need to get this vehicle inspected with in the next year and we will provide you will all the receipts and Minnesota Affidavit of Reconstruction paperwork that you will need to get it inspected. You will be provided with a 21 day permit to drive this vehicle right away, and then we will get the plates for you and they will be mailed to you or you can pick this up if you are local. You have one year to get this vehicle inspected before Minnesota will issue you new license tabs. The inspection process is easy and only takes about 20mins. We will provide you with the dates and times of your nearest inspection center. After is has been inspected, you will get a new title back from the State of Minnesota that will give it a Prior Salvage Title Status. According to the State, that means that it is a clear title. According to everyone else, its still a salvage title. Att: Non-Minnesota buyers, You will NOT be charged any added fees. You will owe the exact amount of your final bid and thats all. You will be given the receipts for the repairs in the event you need them. You will also need to check with your local DMV to check the process of transfering a salvage title in your home state before you bid. You will be given a 21day permit to drive this vehicle home, but after that, you are on your own. You should be able to take the title to your dmv and get it transfered and get plates right away, but some states might have a different process that you need to go though, so please check that out before you bid. After the inspection is done in your home state, you should be issued a prior salvage/rebuilt title. Shipping, Shipping is at Buyers expense. If you can't come pick this up in person and you want us to ship it for you, we can set that up. Clearly the farther away you are, the more it's going to cost. Average shipping costs are about $150 in Minnesota, $300 in upper midwest, $500 to outter midwest (Texas,Ohio,Montana,Colorado), and coastal areas are about $700-$900. Depending on where you are, it could take anywhere from 2 to 8 business days before you receive the acadia. The balance can ONLY be paid with cash in person, a bank wire transfer, or Certified Bank Check. If you do pay with a Certified Bank Check (cashiers check), we will hold the title and receipts for 14 days until that check clears and then mail the title and receipts to you. NO PERSONAL CHECKS! Warranty, Most auto manufacturers don't stand by the factory warranty with a car has a salvage title, however some still do. So its up to you to contact your local dealership to see if the factory warranty is still active. ALL auto manufacturers still do stand by recalls. So if this car is in need of a recall, take it back to the dealership and they will fix the recalled item. On the other hand, if you have any accident or accident repair issues with this car with in the first 30days let us know and we will usually take care of the problem at no charge as long as you bring the car back to us. Salvage Title Info, Info below was pulled from Wikipedia about salvage titles. In the United States, a salvage title is a form of vehicle title branding, which notes that the vehicle has been severely damaged and/or deemed a total loss by an insurance company that paid a claim on it. The criteria for determining when a salvage title is issued differ considerably by state. In a minority of states, regulations require a salvage title for stolen vehicles but, in others, it is issued only for losses due to damage. Under some circumstances, a salvage title denotation may be removed or replaced with a Rebuilt Salvage designation and cars imported to, or exported from, the United States may be issued a clean title regardless of history. Because a salvage title can be issued to a vehicle with easy repairable problems or no damage whatsoever, the low cost of the salvaged motorcycle or car is appealing to some hobbyists and investors. Determination of Salvage Status, In general, a vehicle is deemed "salvage" when the insurer determines that the repair or replacement cost is in excess of approximately 75% of its market value at the time of the accident or theft. Thresholds range between 50% and 95% of the vehicle's value, while "total loss states" leave the specifics to the insurer. Upon paying the claim, the insurer may offer to return the vehicle to the owner as an insurance buy-back, in which case the owner is responsible for having the repairs made and having the car inspected by a State-designated facility. Depending on the state, this inspection may remove the salvage brand from the vehicle's title. The exact percentage of value that triggers the decision to total the vehicle is guided by applicable laws and regulations. The damage estimate is calculated at retail repair rates, which may be more than the cost of wholesale repair. Vehicles that are not bought back are auctioned as salvage to an auto recycler or a rebuilder and given a salvage title. Are All Salvage Titles Bad? No, They aren't. Thats just like saying all Clean Title cars are good. There are alot of salvage titles cars out there that have little to no damage due to theft recovery, or since insurance companies won't use aftermarket parts and need to use brand new factory parts. If those factory parts are on back order, they aren't going to wait weeks or months until they can get those parts again. So something as simple as damage to a 01-06 GMC Yukon Denali front impact bumper that costs $300 new, that totaled out about 100 trucks last year because of the GM bankruptcy that shut down the manufacturing of those bumpers. Thus no one could get that part so insurance companies just totaled them all out rather then to wait the 6 months to get a new bumper. Are All Clean Titles Cars Accident Free? No, Most of you have probly been in an accident at one point or another. If your accident was a deer hit, most of the time that is repairable. Your local body shop made the repairs and you were good to go. However no one will ever know and it wasn't marked on your title. It still may have been a great car after that, but just like salvage title cars, they can be great and hassle free for years after the repairs have been made. In another example, if you had a newer car, and you didn't have full coverage insurance and you drove your car into a local lake, ditch, hit a tree, another car, ect. You would have some damage that you might not have taken to a body shop and had the repairs done correctly. Thus passing on future possible issues to a new owner. The truth is, that you don't know what or where a car has been unless you bought it brand new. And as you know, buying brand new will cost you a lot more then buying used. So even if the worst case happens and you buy a salvage title car that you know has been in an accident, you know what you are buying and you are paying less for that. So even if something happens to the motor, transmission, battery, tires, ect. You saved thousands by buying a salvage title over buying a used car with a clear title and that savings will likely cover the cost of the repairs. The truth is any car either brand new, used, or salvage title can break down at any given time. We take pride in our cars and do our best to make our customers happy with their purchase. Our feedback is important to us and we will do our best to make sure you come back to buy from us again in the future. THIS VEHICLE IS LOCATED IN FARIBAULT MINNESOTA 55021 Fyi, I have been driving this escalade, so the mileage has chaged a bit. it currently is reading just over 43,650miles. Oh, and I do have paperwork from the body shop that did the alignement to prove that everything is correct and in specs. The winning bidder will recive that paperwork along with the title and other documents. thanks.
