This auction is for a 1981 Moto Guzzi 1000SP motorcycle. I'm selling it for my friend, so if you have any questions please email with your contact information. By bidding, you agree to the terms of this auction: $500 deposit due at the end of the auction, and the remaining balance paid within 7 days, no exceptions. I can store it for you for any reasonable amount of time if you want to collect it locally. About the motorcycle: It's very original. Everything is present and in good working order. It has 73k miles on it, starts right up at the first push of the button, idles good. Mechanically it's in great condition, and has had a fresh oil change, new filters, and gaskets. The seat has a couple rips, the exhaust pipes aren't very pretty anymore, there's a crack in the rubber foot peg, two cracks in the fairing as pictured. Overall it has no rust, no leaks, everything works. Has triple disc brakes- rear brake pedal is bridged into the front brakes. It seems very original- original paint and colors. Very solid, exotic, collectible motorcycle that you could hop on and use every day. If you Google image search Moto Guzzi SP you will see some good looking bikes made from this one. This particular year and model seems to be sought after to make vintage cafe racers. Hate to sell it, but I don't use it much and need some money. There's still enough summer left to enjoy it!
