Vehicle Detail

allinthedetailsllc Store 1999 Porsche 996 Cabriolet The Timeless 911 1999 Porsche 996 911 cabriolet The creation of the beloved 911 was introduced to the world in 1963. Since that inaugural year, automotive enthusiasts have simply been infatuated with the unique styling and comfort of one of the world's greatest sports car. The styling of the 911 quickly became the face of Porsche. From generation to generation, the 911 has been able to retain its classic look without ever being labeled as outdated. In 1998 the 996 was debuted featuring the most dramatic changes to the Carrera model since its introduction in 1963. Most notably, Porsche experimented with the oval headlights giving them a sharp cornered interior edge. Also, front and rear bumpers no longer look like safety regulated addition to one's design, but they have been integrated into the body giving the car nicely rounded much more appealing edges. Pertaining to the interior, a much needed complete redesign was accomplished magnificently. A leather wrapped dash, sporty new cluster and many more luxurious touches throughout. Under the hood, water-cooled engines replaced the previous air-cooled engines. Our silver 911 cabriolet is a thrill to drive and surely will instill any driver to push it to its limits around every corner and straightaway. Driving this car for the first time is a pleasure, instant power and speed at any moment. Rarely do you find so much power in such a luxurious ride that you wouldn't mind taking cross-country after your trip to the track. And with the tiptronic transmission, you can enjoy this car in traffic or on back country roads! As you can tell from the photos, this 911 is in great condition inside and out. With nearly 120,000 miles on it, which is under the national average of 15,000 miles/year, it has little wear on the interior. The leather seats have minor wear on them as shown in the photos and there are some scruffs on the rear side panels from normal operation of the roof. There seams to be no other concerns with the interior. The outside of the car is very straight and the paint is clean and clear of any moderate blemishes. The car has been lowered slightly and there is a spot on the underskirt of the passenger side where the car maybe clipped a curb, but yet it is hardly noticeable. A few issues to note: We did notice a slight oil leak (a drip or two/week), there is some clearcoat peeling off on the rims, and the rear tires will need to be replaced. Also, the windshield has an average sized crack, but not in the sight of the driver at all so still safe and legal. All of these issues can be repaired at our wholesale cost if the new owner chooses. The car will be sold "as-is" however. Pre-purchase inspections are welcome at the buyer's expense. Other Notes: The stereo has been upgraded with an Alpine CD player with iPod hookup and Alpine amp. Excellent sound quality. It has a built in radar detector, though to be honest we are not sure how to operate it!-- Probably a good thing, as that could create moral hazard. IMPORTANT TO NOTE--- this car has H & R Performance suspension- including adjustable coil-overs and shocks. About a $2000 upgrade and is height adjustable.Overall, this 911 is impressive inside and out and you will surely be stunned by its condition and performance. We encourage any interested parties to contact us directly and visit our dealership to get an even better up close and personal view. THANK YOU AND GOOD LUCK BIDDING! If you went through the car with a magnifying glass and fine toothed comb you could find faults for sure--as you can with any car, and so the car is sold “as-is” and pre- purchase inspections can help take some guesswork out of any car purchase so I encourage them.
