Vehicle Detail
This is a nice, clean bike with only 15,800 miles on. It starts, runs and rides perfectly. It is fast and tight, needs nothing. The bike was in excellent shape when we got it, but we have done some upgrades and changes to make it even better. The bike has very good chrome and paint. There is a 1-1/2" crease in the Left side of the tank, hard to show in pictures. Color is flip flop red with blue undertones. Side panels are solid, have all the pins and no cracks, no rips in seat. The front brake has been gone through; caliper cleaned, system flushed and a stainless steel upper line installed. Progessive Suspension rear shocks. Rear tire is a new Dunlop 404. Front is a classic rib tread, almost new. New "Daytona Touring" low handlebars, clutch cable shortened to suit. Smaller early style honda signals have been installed for a cleaner look, seat grab rail deleted, headlight mounts changed to "Holy" cafe style. The bike also has a 4 into 1 pipe that WORKS, not just makes more noise. This bike has lots of power and torque, and is a gas to ride. It t starts, idles, and runs beautifully, dosn't pop, bang or miss. All the gears and clutch work fine. It starts instantly on the button or kick, and everything works. We have been saying for years that the cb550 is one of the nicest bikes Honda ever made. They are fast and light, don't break, and handle really nice. If you are looking for an outstanding vintage bike you can really USE and ENJOY, get a cb550, one ride and you will throw rocks at all those big, tall, heavy bikes you thought you wanted!
