This was the last production year for the 914 model. There were 4,100 made in 1976 with about 3,000 coming to the USA. The car has 92,520 miles. The 2.0 litre engine was rebuilt in early 2010 by Black Forest Garage in Denver, NC and has less than 1,000 miles on the rebuilt motor. It is a numbers matching car and has been a Concours winner many times. (I have the trophies to prove it.) It has stock sway bars in the front and the rear, a center console, an oil temp gauge, an oil pressure gauge, clock and volt gauges (new and all working)amd a center compartment between the seats. Period correct Blaupunkt STEREO radio with four speakers and passenger side mirror. New windshield. It's a California car and had a beautiful repaint there. The color is called Napal Orange (original color). The emissions (smog) was removed during the engine rebuild, (runs cooler). I sill have all the parts that were removed if your state requires emissions testing on a 1976 car. You will have to have all the parts reinstalled (not an easy task). The hard Targa top snaps into the rear trunk. It has new vinyl on sail panels. New Michelin tires all around 195/65/15. The spare is not Michelin 165/60/15, however, it is new and never on the car. The wheels are 2.0 Fuchs and that INCLUDES the spare. These wheels were an option for this car at the factory. It has a Heismann electric antenna, new Bosch fuel pump, starter assist relay, new vacuum and fuel lines, New full carpet from Auto Atlanta; including front trunk area and new leather on steering wheel. New turbo tie rods and new ball joints. New clutch. Rear calipers rebuilt with new rear rotors and pads. Has the limited edition front valance. Petronix igniter (eliminates points and condenser). Since the engine rebuild I've used only Brad Penn oil. Swepco oil in transmission. All rubber in excellent shape (doors, trunks, etc.) All lights work as they should...even seat belt buzzer. It has the COA, owners manual, dealer brochures, bra and car cover I'm sure I'm leaving some stuff out. Now the bad......a very small oil leak at rear seal....leaves a quarter size spot on floor. This is a beautiful head turning car. Drives and shifts great. If you're looking for a project car, this is not for you. This is a car that is ready to be driven and taken to car shows. Drove the Tail Of The Dragon last October and won best of show in 914 stock 4 cylinder class!
