I have to sell my dream car due to a move out of state.It is a 1971 air-cooled VOLKSWAGEN THING type 82 KUBELWAGEN. This thing was converted over to look like the german World War II Kubelwagen.I got it from a W.W.II re-enactor.This car has been used in several Motion-Pictures. It has a fake machine gun mounted.It also has a 2nd battery hook-up with an inverter.(You can have electric power where ever you go! There is a hidden starter switch-forget about keys!.There are two real steel german gas cans mounted to hide the air gills.Engine starts right up-strong.New brakes.The hood mounted spare is brand new.You get many extra things-like goggles,tool boxes and kits,a VW tow bar and more.Car is primer grey with german markings! Mileage is not exact-the engine has been re-built.Now the bad things...... The canvas top is homemade,the seats are welded into place,and the fenders are plastic! The rear deck is a heavy slab of steel. When you hit a pothole,you get the front end shimmies-the front ball joints need replacing.I have already bought the balljoints and the tool for you! This is a fun car to drive-Good-Luck!
