1964 Ford Galaxie 427 Dual Quad - 575 HP Auction listing is for a 1964 Ford Galaxie dual quad 427 car. Car was built for the car show circuit and nostalgia drags. BIG money spent on this car. This is a "recreation" of the 1964 Lightweight Factory Drag Cars. Paint is Pagoda Green and exceptional!! All body parts were painted before installation. The following parts are fiberglass: Crites tear-drop hood, trunk lid, fenders, bumpers, core support and inner fenders. Car weighs about 3650lbs. Car also comes with original (painted same Pagoda Green) steel hood, trunk lid, fenders and inner fenders. Factory bucket seats are in new condition as is the rest of the interior and carpet. Transmission is a C6 Automatic with a shift kit. 427 dual quad 575 HP engine requires RACE GAS(110 octane recommended). Dyno sheets included along with all receipts. Underside of car has also been restored. 3" aluminized exhaust. Mickey Thompson Drag Radials. Front Disc Brakes. Auto Meter Gauges. Car is streetable... I've driven it to occasional car shows and has never seen the rain. I've never raced it, but was told by the previous owner that the gentleman who built it had made a few passes with it... and it feels very capable of low to mid 11-second runs.
