You are bidding on a 1964 Chevrolet Corvair Spyder Convertible. This is the Corvair with the High Performance Turbocharged 150 HP engine. This car looks good, sounds great and runs great. Just bought from the estate of Ken Kirchman in St Cloud Florida. (google him to find out more about him and where the car came from) This car looks outstanding with the red exterior and black interior color scheme. I did find a receipt in the trunk showing that it has a new soft top on it too. It sat in his private airplane hanger for many years as when I bought it, it had flat spots on tires so I had all 4 new tires put on. The wheels are craiger tru spoke wheels that look good on the car. I'm only listing this in a 3 day auction because I do have a chance to enter it in Mecum's auction in St Charles,Illinois this September and I need to sign a contract with them soon if I'm going to. I just thought I'd try ebay one time with it. There is 3-4 small spots that need paint touch up, but not bad. One is on drivers side right under the bumper, one on passenger side right in front of rear bumper and another on one of the louvers over the engine and the other on the drivers side edge of the door right above door handle which looks like someone just opened the door and it rubbed something. Buyer to pay 1 $500 deposit by pay pal within 24 hours of end of auction and the balance must be paid by cash or cashiers check when picked up. I will hold for 2 weeks free of charge.
