Vehicle Detail

1981 Porsche 928S - 5spd. Runs excellent. I have taken it on a lot of road trips. Newer tires, up to date on all fluid changes. Exterior is in good shape only a couple minor paint issues as you can see in the photos. It has newer Porsche Boxster wheels on it, the original wheels are also included (no tires). Interior needs some work, and the rear trunk hatch needs a new plastic piece to keep it down. It will stay down when driving, but there is a small 1/4" gap which can be seen in the photos. The passenger seat bottom section needs re-upholstered. We keep it covered. The fuse for the power locks may need pulled as the power locks sometimes automatically lock at random times. Also, the sunroof did work but recently became stuck shut, the gearing for the motor might need lubricated. It also needs the passenger handle area that you pull to close the door replaced. I did buy a replacement for that, just haven't installed it yet. This part will come with the car. We have done a decent amount of work to the car like replacing the door handle on the drivers side, brakes, power window motors, fluid changes, brake switches, and a brand new radiator. The Ohio title shows an odometer discrepancy as the previous owner requested a duplicate title after losing theirs and reported the wrong mileage. The correct mileage was recorded after a renewal, flagging an odometer discrepancy at that time. The title is a clear Ohio title and fully transferable. Only other issue with the car is, it has the typical synchro issue for 2nd gear, it will go into gear at slower speeds and higher speeds, but does not like to be down shifted. Once you get used to it, its pretty easy to drive without having any issues. Extra parts that the car doesn't need but it comes with as spares: Extra fuses/relays for a bunch of different components. Original Wheels (no tires on them) The two rear 1/4 panel curved glass pieces And some other assorted parts. We also have the original radiator that had cracked, we bought a new end tank for it and hired a shop to fix it, but they broke the tabs on the radiator. However, there are still ways to fix this which is why I kept it. The vehicle does not come with a warranty, neither explicit nor implied. It is sold as-is and the description is to best of my knowledge as to the condition as presented. This car recently was featured on Gear Up, a nationally televised automotive show. A copy of the video can go with the car. A few hundred bucks into this car and several hours of time could make this car an extremely nice one. It could be driven anywhere today. If you would need to fly in to pick up the car, I could meet you at the airport. If you plan on having the car shipped, you would need to make arrangements for that yourself.
