Vehicle Detail

NO RESERVE!!! Bidding starts at 2000 dollars. Buy it now price is 3000 dollars. Good Luck!!! Very rare 1982 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham with burgundy velour interior. The Cadillac's in superb shape for its age due to it always being kept under a large carport. That and the fact this was a lady driven car by a grandmom who really did just about only drive to church, afew local stores, and to the grandkids' house. She is the 2nd owner after the first sold it at a dealer shortly before my grandfather bought it for her in 1985. My grandmother is 90 years old and doesn't drive this large land yacht anymore. She is driving a smaller Caddy nowadays! This Cadillac is white with a white vinyl top. Interior is rare burgundy velour. This Cadillac is of a bygone breed. The craftsmanship used on the Cadillac is lovely. The velour seats are very comfortable. Unlike leather which is hard, looks plain, and is hot in the summer and cold in the winter, the seats in this Caddy feel like a soft sofa. VIN on registration is 6ab6982c9104566. I was told by an ebay support tech that all Caddy's of that time period have a 1g in front of the numbers of the printed VIN so the full VIN is 1g6ab6982c9104566. Highlights: The title is clean. Maintenance records are on file dating back to 1985 when the car was bought. The car has 107130 miles on it with a rebuilt engine at 70000 miles from 1992. Interior is in near mint condition with very little signs of wear for its age. The Exterior and undercarriage are in great shape. This was a car driven in South Florida without salted roads. The car was painted in 2007 and the rear bumper plastic spacers were replaced in 2007 as well. The tires are about 4 years old with less than 1000 miles on them. All four shocks are 4 years old with less than 1000 miles on them as well. The dealer was unable to connect the auto leveling feature of the rear shocks. Headliner is tight in place with no drooping. New alternator and battery. Cadillac is up and running after about a year and a half of sitting. Just had an oil change and check up by a mechanic. Car ran great on the highway with the AC blowing cool. I have several trim pieces which are ready to be installed to include the hubcap emblems and the rear vinyl trim piece. Points of concern: Cadillac hasn't been run in a year and a half. Just got it up and running again. It is running strong but it has old gas in the tank. After 50 miles it was running great but it did have trouble starting, and it also had the overheat light come on during the first day it was up and running again. The trunk raiser springs don't hold the trunk up. The doors have slight rust at the lip on the underside of the door seam. Rear of vinyl trim is held down by tape. Trim piece is included with car but not installed. Front right side of front bumper looks to be pushed in by about an inch. My grandmother said she never hit anything but it looked like something pushed in the right corner of the bumper. The bumper is not damaged. Right turn signal pilot light is cracked. The back of vinyl top has several scratches from a cat's claws. Rear driver side chrome mud guard is poorly attached. It shows abit of surface rust under the chrome piece. The paint and body shop couldn't put some of the trim on properly due to lack of equipment. AC control is slow to respond, mechanic was said to have disconnected a vent selection while it was being serviced. AC system may need a recharge. The reason for selling this Cadillac is no one in the family has the time for it at present. Much of the family is either spread across the state or raising a house full of little kids. I intended on driving it and restoring it to mint condition, but I don't have the time myself. My grandmother doesn't want to see this vintage car suffer long periods of neglect so she has decided to sell it. She doesn't do the internet so I am acting as her selling agent - pro bono. Check my ratings out I have sold two cars and a motorcycle on eBay. I don't have time for games and I have written this add in the most honest way possible so you will be happy with your purchase. Serious inquires only thanks. I reserve the right to end the auction at anytime due to the car being listed on several auction sites at once. I must receive payment in full and when the payment clears you will have the title, record of sale, and keys in hand. Car is located in Miami Florida, zip 33176. Sale is final. Car sold as is no warranty. Contact me at tangochuck@hotmail.com for questions. Thanks and good luck.
