1969 Honda Z50

1969 Honda K1,K2,K3 Z50 for sale. As you can see it's different. Honda never made a chrome K1 or K2 or K0 but I did. Every part that wasn't chromed already I did. If you have priced geting things chromed lately then you have an idea of what it cost to do this. While I've set a reasonable reserve, I don't expect to recover my costs. The chrome cost $1200.00 and the engine rebuild was $700.00. But, I remind myself, I did this for the fun of it anyway. Here are the facts about the bike. Every nut and bolt restoration. Engine completely rebuilt to original specs by Jeff Tuttubene of Honda Mini-Guns in California. Every part either new, rebuilt, or NOS using all genuine Honda parts. All new chrome or zinc plating where appropriate. All new cables, brakes, tires, lights, etc, etc, etc. When I received the engine from Jeff, I started it and rode it to the end of the street. I then drained the small amount of fuel and injected storage lubricant into the cylinder and set it out into my family room. You will not be disappointed in this bike. It looks and runs as brand new. Update, three weeks ago, I put a small amount of fuel and the engine started on the first kick and purrs like a kitten. You can either show or enjoy riding it. I only restore to absolute perfection.
