1964 1/2 FORD MUSTANG CONVERTIBLE TRUE '64 1/2 MODEL SAME OWNER 25 YEARS ECONOMICAL SIX CYLINDER GREAT COLOR COMBO POWER TOP THREE SPEED UP FOR AUCTION AND YOUR VIEWING PLEASURE IS A 1964 1/2 FORD MUSTANG CONVERTIBLE. MUSTANG CONVERTIBLES ARE AMONG THE MOST POPULAR COLLECTOR CARS AND ARE PRIZED BY BOTH MEN AND WOMEN, YOUNG AND OLD ALIKE. THIS IS A TRUE EARLY MUSTANG CONVERTIBLE, 1964 1/2 MODEL, BUILT IN EARLY JUNE 1964. THIS MUSTANG CONVERTIBLE HAS BEEN OWNED BY THE SAME PERSON FOR OVER 25 YEARS. IT HAS BEEN PART OF A COLLECTION AND HE ALWAYS KEPT IT GARAGED. HE'S NOW 92 YEARS OLD AND CAN'T DRIVE IT ANYMORE. IT IS ONE OF THE FIRST MUSTANGS BUILT AND BEST OF ALL .... THE TOP GOES DOWN. THIS MUSTANG IS STRAIGHT, HAS DECENT PAINT, AND LOOKS GOOD CRUISING DOWN THE BOULEVARD. WE'VE BEEN BUYING AND SELLING COLLECTOR CARS FOR MANY YEARS. WE REGULARLY SHIP CARS BOTH NATIONALLY AND INTERNATIONALLY SO FEEL FREE TO E-MAIL FOR A QUOTE. THE PHONE NUMBER IS 509-991-8360. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO CALL IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS. WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO INSPECT THE MUSTANG AND WOULD BE HAPPY TO PICK YOU UP AT THE AIRPORT OR TRAIN STATION. THIS 1965 FORD MUSTANG CONVERTIBLE IS IN GOOD CONDITION. IT IS A DRIVER QUALITY CAR. IN FAIRNESS TO ALL, I DON'T DIVULGE THE RESERVE PRICE, HOWEVER IF YOU WISH TO MAKE AN OFFER, LET US KNOW, AND IF A DEAL IS STRUCK WE CAN POST A BUY IT NOW PRICE. THIS 1964 1/2 FORD MUSTANG CONVERTIBLE IS A DRIVER QUALITY VEHICLE. IT IS STRAIGHT AND THE PAINT IS IN DECENT CONDITION. THERE ARE SOME CHIPS AND SCRATCHES, BUT THE PAINT HAS A GOOD SHINE AND FROM TEN FEET AWAY IT LOOKS FINE AND CRUISING DOWN THE ROAD IT LOOKS GREAT. IT IS RED IN COLOR WITH A WHITE POWER TOP THAT IS IN REALLY NICE CONDITION. I'VE BEEN AROUND THE BODY WITH A MAGNET AND IT IS SOLID. THE CHROME AND STAINLESS ARE IN GOOD SHAPE. THE PLASTIC REAR WINDOW IS IN GOOD SHAPE, NOT TORN OR YELLOWED. THE GLASS IS ALL IN GOOD CONDITION. IT IS A VERY POPULAR CONVERTIBLE THAT MOST PEOPLE LOVE AND IT GETS A LOT OF ATTENTION. IT IS NOT A SHOW CAR, BUT WITH A LITTLE EFFORT IT COULD BE ONE FOR THE PARK SHOWS, CRUISE NIGHT EVENTS, CAR CLUB SHOWS, ETC. MORE INFORMATION IS AFTER EACH SET OF PICTURES. PLEASE LET THEM LOAD AS THERE ARE QUITE A FEW. I APOLOGIZE FOR THE COLOR DIFFERENCES IN SOME OF THE PICS, THE SUN CAME AND WENT, AND MY CAMERA SEEMS LIKE IT HAS A MIND OF IT'S OWN SOMETIMES. Exterior Pictures Interior Pictures THE INTERIOR OF THE 1964 1/2 FORD MUSTANG CONVERTIBLE IS IN FAIR TO GOOD CONDITION. IT IS WHITE IN COLOR AND COMPLEMENTS THE EXTERIOR VERY WELL. IT COULD USE A LITTLE WORK. ONCE AGAIN, IT IS FINE FOR A DRIVER. THE DRIVER'S BUCKET SEAT HAS A COUPLE SPLITS, MOSTLY ON THE SEAMS, AND THE PASSENGER SEAT HAS SOME SPLITS AT THE TOP ( SEE PICS ). THE DASH IS IN GOOD SHAPE AND THE LENSES ARE ALL CLEAR. THE FABRIC HAS SOME DISCOLORATION. THE CARPETS ARE IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. THE DOOR PANELS ARE WHITE AND IN FAIR TO GOOD CONDITION. ONE NICE THING ABOUT MUSTANGS IS THAT PARTS ARE EASILY FOUND AND QUITE INEXPENSIVE. THE WINDOWS ROLL UP AND DOWN JUST FINE. Motor and Other Pictures THE MOTOR IS THE ECONOMICAL 170 CUBIC INCH SIX CYLINDER MATED TO A THREE SPEED TRANSMISSION. THE CAR HAS BEEN IN STORAGE FOR A WHILE. IT IS QUITE COLD BLOODED AND RUNS ROUGH WHEN COLD. IT SEEMS TO SMOOTH OUT WHEN WARM BUT COULD USE A GOOD TUNE-UP AND CLEANING OUT. IT DOES DRIP SOME OIL, BUT DOESN'T SMOKE. THE MOTOR COMPARTMENT IS PRETTY CLEAN AND VERY SIMPLE. THE MUSTANG STILL HAS THE STOCK GENERATOR, ANOTHER INDICATION OF AN EARLY PRODUCTION CAR. THE TRUNK COMPARTMENT IS CLEAN AND SOLID. THE UNDERCARRIAGE IS CLEAN, BUT THERE IS RUST IN VARIOUS SPOTS UNDERNEATH. THE MUSTANG HAS STOCK WHEELS AND TIRES THAT ARE IN PRETTY GOOD SHAPE. THE TIRES ARE WHITEWALL RADIALS AND IT HAS WIRE COVERS THAT LOOK REALLY GOOD ON THE CAR. TERMS AND CONDITIONS I can arrange shipping or you can arrange yourself. Buyer pays all shipping charges. Please e-mail for shipping rates. Auction may be canceled at any time as car is also advertised locally. Terms are as follows: $1000 down within 3 days after auction by Paypal or wire transfer. Balance due 10 days after auction end. Balance can be paid with Bank Certified Cashiers Check, or wire transfer. Wire Transfer is preferred. Please note: Cashier's Checks can take over 30 days to clear and neither car or title will be transferred until the check clears. No personal checks. Please DO NOT bid unless you are serious about buying. I have tried to be thorough, but there is only so much you can write here so please ask any and all questions before bidding. Please do not wait until the last day to ask questions. Please understand it is a used car, a semi project, 47 years old, and as such will have various flaws and imperfections such as minor chips, scratches, etc. in the paint, body, trim, interior, etc. There may be a few small chips that have been touched up over time but nothing major. The vehicle runs, but obviously I can't guarantee or warranty the condition of running gear, electrical, or other items. Expect the usual drips, etc. of an older car. There are rust areas in the undercarriage. Statements are that of the previous owner and we try to verify as much as possible, but obviously cannot guarantee the accuracy of statements made to us. I encourage inspections, but they must be done prior to the auction ending. In Washington State all cars over 10 years old must be sold as 'Mileage Exempt' and that's how the title will read. Although it is a true 1964 1/2, all Mustangs from that year are titled as 1965. You can tell by the trim tag that is an early one. If you have questions or concerns please E-mail or call 509-991-8360. You may have to leave a message as I'm not always by the phone. I am selling this for a friend so please do not wait until the last day or minute to ask questions. IF YOU HAVE NEGATIVE FEEDBACK OR ARE NEW TO EBAY PLEASE CALL ME BEFORE BIDDING OR BID WILL BE CANCELED. Vehicle is sold as-is with no warranty implied or intended. Thank you for looking. Washington State residents must pay sales tax on purchase price and title transfer and registration (usually about $75) also. WaDlr2162 Thank you for looking and best of luck with bidding. ...
