WHAT WE HAVE IS A 1996 NISSAN MAXIMA GLE ITS PLUSES: AIR-CONDITIONING CRUISE CONTROL NEW BRAKES (4 MONTHS AGO) NEW SERPENTINE BELT (6 MONTHS AGO) BLACK LEATHER INTERIOR BOSE STEREO SYSTEM HEATED SEATS OIL CHANGED REGULARLY TRANSMISSION SHIFTS PERFECTLY ENGINE STRONG AND VERY QUIET ( NO KNOCKING OR OTHER FUNNY NOISES) POWER WINDOWS POWER DOORS & LOCKS AUTOMATIC THEFT ALERT SYSYTEM A/C IS IN GREAT CONDITION (so cold it feels like a meat locker) HEAT WORKS FINE TIRES ARE IN EXCELLENT SHAPE!!!!!! ITS MINOR FLAWS: THE LEATHER IS TORN ON THE DRIVER SIDE SEAT...nothing a seat cover cant handle THE PASSENGER SIDE REAR STRUT IS STARTING TO GO BAD IT HAS A FEW SCRATCHES AND CHIPS ON THE HOOD...its common with a car this old, but they are minor THE PASSENGER SIDE REAR WINDOW IS SLOW TO ROLL DOWN BUT ROLLS UP FAST...may need a new window regulator I AM SURE IT NEEDS A NEW WATER PUMP.....my mechanic says the one currently in need to be replaced as soon as possible. That was about 1 month agoI stopped letting it be driven to protect the motor when it over heats (it overheats very slowly but it still overheats. I only drive it now to move it from one parking space to another. I priced the pump on parts geek website for <$40.00 with a warranty. Why am I selling? Why am I selling? I already bought another Maxima from a local auction, I was keeping this one to lend to my bro and sis. Its getting a little costly for 2 cars on my insurance In my apartment complex I am only allowed 1 parking pass, and I am tired of playing musical parking spaces. Plain and simple its a great car, I see about $300-$400.00 in repairs for the right person. I kept the car well maintained but like I said its getting old and although we have history I have a new Maxima. Its an excellent starter car, will definately hold up through the winter months.
