1976 Porsche 914, It stared its life as a 2.0 liter, but the engine has been modified to the current 2.3 liter format. Aircooled industeries AKA (Jake Raby) is the designer of the engine. Larger pistons and cylinders, Stroked crankshaft, High lift camshaft, Larger valves, and Cylinder head modification, SSI heat exchangers and Weber carbs yield a engine that can make near 200 HP. The engine has been rebuilt after many years of use. New piston rings, Bearings, Gaskets, ETC. The engine has not been installed or started since the rebuild. The car has an Accusump system with a front mounted oil cooler, copper lines were used on the passenger side. The body was media blasted in 2007 to bare metal, there was some rust repair done with metal being welded in. the windshield was removed when this was done. the body was metal finished to remove almost all the dents. Epoxy primers were used to prevent future rust problems. Speed Yellow PPG paint was applied, then color sanded and buffed to a beautiful luster. The door gaps are very nice, as is the fitment of the rest of the panels. The original seats are near perfect, the second set has a Yellow insert in the middle. The door panels are very nice as well. The carpet was removed and needs to be replaced with new the old was just worn out with age. There is a harness bar and a center console with gauges, The steering wheel is a Momo The front control arms have solid bushings. BMW front brake calipers. SS brake hoses, 911 wheel studs, and adjustable sway bar. The car need put back together, all the parts are included as well as a collection of 914 Porsche parts from the last 20 years. Engine parts, intearior, Extra set of Malhe wheels, Some body parts, electrical, and the list goes on and on. There is a Saratoga top (VERY RARE). Fiberglass front and rear bumpers (2 sets). Stainless steel rocker covers, as well as fiberglass ones.There is a front spoiler. 2 windshields, and extra doors This is a great project from someone and could be on the road in VERY little time. Jake Raby did not build the engine. It was converted to the larger engine displacement over ten years ago. The engine needed a rebuild after years of driving. The rebuild was done by myself in 2006, I have been a Porsche mechanic for over twenty years. The engine has been in storage, and covered and turned over on a regular basis.
