I bought this in 2005 with low mileage and used it as my daily commuter and driving back and forth to my ranch. It is excellent off road and has gobs of Torque and Power. One of the most comfortable vehicles I have ever owned. I installed the tow package and had the oil regularly changed. It was a certified pre-owned Volkswagen and had an extended warranty - I had it serviced at Sonnen in Mill Valley where they worked out all the bugs they had in the early Touraegs. (My pain - your gain :-). I have not used it much in the last few years as I started driving a Prius and CNG truck for commuter lane access. I hade it detailed and small chips and scratches touched up, recently polished and the paint work shows beautifully.
