Vehicle Detail

What you are bidding on is a rare origional 1987 El Camino Choo Choo custom edition. This is NOT A CLONE it is one of the origional 861 Choo Choos made in the El Camino's final year of production. It has power windows, power breaks, power locks, new A/C, cruise control, console shifter, tilt and much much more. I sort of fell into this rare classic the way you all dream of. A guy I know got it as a swap for some rent payments. I am not sure he realized how rare they are, it needed a few things (battery, alternator, AC, window motor) and he really just wanted cash and didnt want to bother with it. I did. I had all the work done and now it runs like new. Possibly better then new. It has a Holly Carberator, Edelbrock manifold, crome alternator, radiator goose neck, air filter A/C compressor cover, the valve covers look like Aluminum . The hoses are all braided and more. It purrs like a kitten but will definately pull you back in your seat. The tires are in very good condition and have lots of life on them. It has a solid tono cover, Side exahust covers, tuck and roll back bumper (The only one like it I have seen), the bed has been coated, it has a sun roof and custom steering wheel. That is not to say this car is perfect or will get a 10 out of 10 in competition. I want to be up front and honest. This is a great car to take to the cruise in and will get you lots of looks. When I drove it around I always got thumbs up or waves. It is a solid, respectable classic but it has some little things it needs if you want to compete with it. The front bumper/grill area has some spider webbing, One of the driving light covers is broken, the mirror tops need to be painted the back tailgate area looks like it was painted by a so/so ameture and needs to be redone. The passenger door has a door ding on it. The interior is clean and fair but not showroom quality (Cracked dash, etc.) the gas gague and shifter selector do not work. It is mostly little anoying things that someone who wanted a excelent vehicle could spend a weekend or two on and have completely sorted out. It is not perfect. If you want that perfect looking vehicle you can find it here. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp3984Q2em1423Q2el2649QQitemZ110718532133QQsspagenameZSTRKQ3aMEWAXQ3aIT That vehicle is $24,000.00 and the motor probably is not as special as this one. I am selling this vehicle with NO RESERVE. What it sell for, it sells for. but BE REALISTIC. I reserve the right to end the auction at any time as I have the vehicle for sale elsewhere. Shipping is at your expense. I am located in Knoxville Tennessee. I will deliver it w/i 100 mile for free or deliver it to the shipper of your choice in the area. If you want to come check it out in person or have questions, give me a call or e mail and we will set it up Stacey (865) 455-2627. Good luck and happy bidding! On Aug-20-11 at 08:38:53 PDT, seller added the following information: The motor is great. There is no smoke. I would imagine it has been re built recently because it runs so strong and clean but I can not guarantee that because I never talked to the origional owner. It may also have more performance motor mods then listed but again I can not say for sure. What is listed is what I can see or know for sure. There are NO transmission issues at all. The vehicle shifts fine and tracks true down the road I accidentally said it had console shifting in the origional posting but meant column shifting for the auto transmission. There is No visible rust that I have found anywhere. I do know before I got it it sat for a few years (the tags on it expired in 09 and are still what is on it now) . It also has a custom steering wheel not mentioned in the origional post. Please feel free to call me, come by, check it out and test drive it before bidding. I don't think you will be let down but once you bid I expect you to follow through.
