The information above was taken off of the original window sticker, which I still have along with the receipts for the work done on the car engine. The heads were ported and polished along with the cam being replaced with a hot cam. The engine sounds and runs great. It does not smoke or knock. I purchased this car from a dealer shortly after it was traded in for a sports car. I think the owner was a military person stationed @ Fort Leavenworth that decided it was time to stop working on the car and settle down to a new one. In either event, I intended on restoring it and just lost interest. I had to replace the injector seals as one of them was nicked when being replaced and fuel was leaking when the engine was running. The owner probably was the one that removed and replaced the heads and camshaft. I don’t know and can’t state that as a fact. I had to also replace the master cylinder with a used one as I was not able to locate a rebuild kit and the brakes did not feel good enough to trust the car on the road. That is all I know about the car other than I have driven it about 100 miles since I have owned it. In my opinion, whoever gets this car will be one that loves corvettes and wants a project to work on. The body itself is in excellent condition and I feel the care is certainly worthy of being restored. My reserve price is what I consider a good value for what someone will be getting!!!!!
