1970 Triumph Tiger Daytona T100R For sale is my 1970 Triumph. I bought the bike in 2005 and have unfortunately done very little with it. I rode it occasionally for a while after purchase, but it has been sitting for about 2 years now. When I bought the bike it ran very well and started quickly. It was a lot of fun to ride and got a lot of compliments on the road. Life got busy and I didn't touch the bike for a year or so. I had planned to do a little work on it and get it going again, but never had the time. Now it is time to let someone else enjoy it! I would classify this bike as a project bike, but it won't take much to get it into top shape. The bike has some surface rust on the chrome and needs copper wool and some polishing compound, the spokes have rust too and may or may not need to be replaced, the rubber fork boots need to be replaced, and the carbs need a good cleaning. There is a 1" dent in the headlight. Other than that it is in decent shape. Serial numbers on the frame and motor match; KD 28287. The bike was fully gone through and tuned up by Wes Scott right before I bought it. Included with the bike: - original Triumph workshop manual - Clymer manual - spare parts, such as two extra carbs and the original ignition system (it has a newer digital system that really helps starting and performance) If you're looking for a very nice british bike that needs some relatively light restoration, this is perfect for you. Since it is in less than perfect condition, I've set my reserve very low. I can crate and ship the bike anywhere, but you are responsible for shipping charges and arrangements.
