Vehicle Detail
As Is Sale. new paint in 2003,new window motors, seats and visors reupolstered, dynomax mufflers, new steering wheel, tires and red dot lugs,I have the original 4 speed shifter and front center console with new boot that goes with car. headliner is drooping, has a few chips in paint in hood corners, replaced radiator,washer/wiper motor, has remote silonoid for starter for good starts when hot, electric fans and belts and hoses. 455 bored .030 and has forged pistons, rhodes lifters, laniti cam that is gear driven,ported/polished heads, rebuilt 800cfm quadrojet by The Carb Shop in california, spin balanced internals, screw in oil gallery plugs, hooker headers with copper gaskets(no leaks),fully adjustable rocker arms, arp rod bolts. Heads and up are original, block is not for this car. new rotors, calipers, needs e-brake cable. needs speedo gear in tranny replaced. Has sat indoors for 15 years. Not a perfect car but a rare example and in decent shape. I don't have time to ding around with it and it needs to be driven and taken care of. Tons of replaced items and a rare car. LOOK it up,good investment. Needs a few things but will keep rising in price. The dash pad is cracked and will need a cap on it.It also has a Centerforce Dual friction clutch system installed. The car is 37 years old and is in decent shape for its age. I've bought it in 1989 and have spent the money to take care of it. It needs a new home.I added pics. of the chip on the hood and the two cracks in the front end-notorious for these models,it has had the rust spot behind the drivers door on the quarter panel replaced, about 2 inches square. The passenger rear quarter was replaced with a rust free quarter from Texas, off a 73.A kid ran a red light and hit it.I hauled the car to Texas where a friend has a body shop to be fixed and the whole car repainted in 2003.I dont think I've put 500 miles on it scence.Looks Awesome for a 37 year old car.On Aug-20-11 at 08:51:11 PDT, seller added the following information: This car is an original Bucaneer Red car. The color a Trans Am should be!! I also forgot to mention it has had the rear leaf springs replaced and also the centerlink and tie rod ends. A new window seal kit was also installed when the electric window motors were replaced with new(not rebuilt) I did notice that the fuel gauge is sticking, the car has been sitting in storage a couple years and the sender might be sticky. Thats why it needs to have a new home,it needs to be driven. On Aug-21-11 at 06:55:53 PDT, seller added the following information: I was asked about how old the pictures are. I took the pictures one hour before I put the auction up. The engine has aprox 1500 miles on it and runs great. The paint has 300 miles aprox. I have only taken it out a few times for a car cruise night. Thanks for looking. I can not see any rust holes in the underneath, surface rust only on some. I spent alot of money in the body shop and it looks good. Thanks for looking.
