The Adenauer offered for sale is one of the later versions of this limousine; The 300d W189; Based on a longer wheelbase, the W189 was introduced in 1957 and featured the latest technologies including fuel injection and an automatic transmission. This car was purchased by me approximately 25 years ago from an individual in Gaylax Virginia. The last time the car was on the road was 1972, it has been indoor storage since I purchased it. I have never driven the car or started it. Moths have gotten to the carpeting. It was a project that never happened. The car has a small amount of rust on the right rear door. It would be a great car for total restoration or to part out. The parts are probably worth much more than my reserve. I can not and do not guarantee anything about this car except it appears to be all there and all the glass is fine. It has the top of the line blaupont radio in it. There is rust in and through both wheel wells, due to a deteriorated trunk gasket. Also no keys and the steering wheel is in locked position.
